Last I saw he was behind by over 600, but that's counting super delegates. It's so fucking sketchy how Clinton has almost ALL the Super Delegates so far
Super delegates are party leaders. Of course they're going to go with whom they expected to be the initial party pick.

I have no doubt that after 2008 and being Secretary of State, the DNC got together with Hillary and promised her the next nomination so to not cause of a shit storm back then.
It's weird that Super Tuesday 2016 happened to take place mostly in states that Hillary had a good chance of winning anyway, I don't know the process of how the states are picked but in the back of my mind I was thinking "she rigged it"
My ideology? We are a union of states bound by the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Nothing more.
at this point in time, america is in the latter stages of a transition from being a "union of states" into a unitary state with a centralized political authority. the "union of states" thing is an idea in name only that last held any currency in the 19th century.
states no longer have the powers they once used to possess - most of the remaining ones are either nominal or those which are basically allowed (or haven't been taken over) by the central government for reasons of pragmatism.
there's literally no way to go back at all because the entirety of american society depends on this rather centralized government just to function - and the inflexible 18th century institutions which america was built upon are starting to show their limits as they come under increasing strain
edit:
As I have said before, if Clinton loses the General Election I am demodding/perma'ing myself.
:toxx:
Definitely voting Trump, now.
He already has.
He bet his mod account on it.
Are you willing to toxx that?
He already did.
He already said so in various threads.
It's even stated in the official Toxx Thread in the GD
:unimpressed:
I'll take the ban if Sanders wins 5 more states. Not gonna happen.
I'll take the ban if Sanders wins in more than 5 states. Not gonna happen.
I'll drink an entire 600ml bottle of water off camera if trump become president

If Bernie gets president, I'll commit suicide.
Super delegates will switch when bernie wins more and more states
Sorry to break this to you pal, but Reddit lied to you.
Let's compare it to 2008:
From Wikipedia's page history, I can determine that throughout the 2008 primaries, Obama always trailed very closely behind Hillary in superdelegates as time went on.
This is of course completely unlike Sanders, who at this point doesn't even have 1/20 of the current amount of superdelegates Hillary has.
Additionally, only about 50 superdelegates ended up switching from Hillary to Obama when he gained the majority of (regular) delegates. This gave him the majority of superdelegates simply because he always was very close behind Hillary.
And finally, what reasons would the superdelegates have to switch to Sanders when he's only closely trailing Hillary, but never actually overtaking her?
Here, Let me play devils advocate. You're high if your voting for bernie. And here's why: NONE of his policies will make it through congress. Period. At all. Would it be nice if they did? Fuck yea. Will that make a bit of difference at all? Nope. Not in the slightest.
4 years of "feelin the bern" isn't going to do a damn thing over 4 years of "making america great again" because in the end the insane bullshit that trump comes up with is going to get ripped apart by congress and the supreme court.
Anyone who says "OH IF X CANDIDATE GETS ELECTED WE'RE FUCKED" is smoking some seriously good shit, and they should send me some.
This is 100% true because of the system of checks and balances, the president is not a superpower that has the final word in every instance.

Same here.
Make facepunch great again.
I'll take the ban if Sanders wins in more than 5 states. Not gonna happen.
Hasn't he won 3 already?
lol Sanders could be dead and most of Facepunch would still convince themselves he could win. People are in denial that Sanders is losing.
Not a sanders supporter myself but I don't see where all these nay-saying posts are coming from. Let people be optimistic about their choice.
Hasn't he won 3 already?
Probably should rephrase that. What I meant was 5 more states.
I'll take the ban if Sanders wins in more than 5 states. Not gonna happen.
You're about to be permabanned in 3 days. Bernie has won NH, VT, Minnesota, Oklahoma, and Colorado. He's expected to win many more
