Marter square.
Is that bulldozer on sky?
According to Al Jazeera Arabic (via twitter), the rebels are in control of the state TV. That woman did a bad job it seems.
Obviously her collegues were ineffective human shields.
You both neglect to remember that he's batshit insane and that's why not earlier :v:
Touche.

Glad to finaly see the end in sight for this Civil War. But I wonder what now is ahead for the future of Libya?
AlJazeera is doing a recap of what has happened over the months.

Lybian rebel on sky saying that have no desire to get revenge on gadaffi loyalists, that he trusts the NTC has a plan and that they are indebted to NATO, its members and the international community. Made me feel good inside.

Libyan citizens are pissed at the ICJ for wanting Gaddafi's kid. Oh jesus.
Libyan citizens are pissed at the ICJ for wanting Gaddafi's kid. Oh jesus.
Agreed. I don't think it will be appretiated for the west to just sieze them and not allow the people to try him in their own courts.
Agreed. I don't think it will be appreciated for the west to just seize them and not allow the people to try him in their own courts.
Well, I don't know if they want to try him or hang him.
NTC press conference is at 2pm not am as previously reported. Journalists in Benghazi are apparently rather pissed off.
Go Compare ad on sky. No me gusta.
Watching on Sky Go Watch there if you're interested.

Why is it with Czech subtitles?
While it might not be appropriate since the Gaddafi thugs aren't giving much resistance, this song was playing in my head for some strange reason thinking of the rebel advance into Tripoli:
I hope my cousins are okay, last time I heard from them was a couple months ago and they were in Benghazi.
Apparently (according to FMCNL) various things are on standby to take Saif to the ICC. If Mladic is anything to go by Saif will be enjoying the luxury of the Hauge soon.
The war is basically over, what a great victory. Now the only question is who will take over and will they be any better.
The proposed new constitution apparently says no-one in the NTC will be able to stand for election in the new government. I hope they hold true to stuff like that, it would be a shame if this went sour.

In Article one it says "the principal source of legislation is Islamic Jurisprudence (Sharai)". This is the same as the previous government, but is this a good or a bad thing?

In general any form of Sharia law is never good for a country.
Don't FUCK this up now rebels.
