I would not be surprised at all if he's secretly on Mercury.

More on the claims that the water supply had been poisoned in Tripoli. Libya Al Hurra TV tweets: Water supply is being tested after two people were hospitalized for illness. Checkpoints instructing people to not drink the water.
Uh oh.

Not too big a worry, if it really is poisoned I'm sure they can get some NATO/U.N. technicians down there to help fix the situation and purify the water.
If not, I'm sure we can drop water.
I wouldn't be suprised if he did do it, but good for the rebels, they have the world on there side, I can see bottled water being handed out and stuff.

Sorry couldn't help myself.
That's horrible if its true. But I'm sure the UN would drop in there quick and help. I hope.
So wouldn't that constitute chemical warfare on Gadafi's expanding tracksheet of crimes?
So wouldn't that constitute chemical warfare on Gadafi's expanding tracksheet of crimes?
IF the water is actually poisoned, and they can trace it back to orders given by Gadaffi, then yes.
If they can't find who did it, then they can't trace the orders, which means if that doesn't happen then they can't stick it on Gaddafi. The International War Crimes Tribunal works on witness testimony and testimonies by underlings, so I'm afraid that's how it goes.

Also, now that Republic forces are basically in control of most of the country and have been recognized as the legitimate leaders of the Libyan people, can we start sending in training assets and start selling them the big stuff?
New Developments - Rebels believe #Gaddafi is still in Tripoli and are now attacking a area South of Tripoli to find him
Man, it's so refreshing to have something heartwarming going on in the middle east. Even if it is a bloody revolution.

They'll probably tack it onto his list of charges regardless, however- assuming of course they capture him. If international criminal cases involving politicians and military leaders has taught us anything over the course of the last 60+ years, it's that pinpointing specific crimes which these figures are guilty of is usually never really pursued seriously because of what notoriety and infamy they've already got polluting their reputations.

No, the arms embargo is still in force
No, the arms embargo is still in force
The Arms embargo is against a entity that's mostly defunct now

Also $1.6 Million dollar award for Gaddafi dead or alive with amnesty if a aide kills him

Guys I'm going to be soliciting questions to ask Libyans, you guys have any you want answered?
Some properly eye-opening stuff here
1609: The BBC's Matthew Price has just left Tripoli's Rixos Hotel. He says he and other journalists were in a 220sq m area where two gunmen guarding them thought they were fighting for Col Gaddafi and still believed that he would win the battle.
1611: Matthew Price BBC News, Tripoli says of the guards at the Rixos: "It was firmly their belief that if we went outside of the hotel, the rebels would capture us, kill us and rape the women."
1615: Matthew Price BBC News, Tripoli with more on leaving the Rixos: "We drove out of the hotel compound into a completely different city than the one we had seen seven days earlier."
1620: Matthew Price BBC News, Tripoli I got to one point some time on Monday when I thought: they're going to use this hotel as a barracks for the army for one last stand. If they do that, what's going to happen to us? We found out we had no viable escape route. In the middle of all this violence, with the battle flaring up around us which we could hear but not see, it created this sense of paranoia.
1623: Matthew Price BBC News, Tripoli When finally one of the guards was disarmed in the hotel today he sat down and wept. He fears the rebels are going to kill him if they find him. There was a sudden realisation for him that the game is up. When he drives through these streets, he's going to be astonished, and very afraid for his life.

No, the arms embargo is still in force
Sure is being enforced well, its not like they built a runway in the Nafusa mountain for Qatar to fly in weapons. Although I think the embargo was against the Gaddafi regime and not the country it self.
Also apparently according to the BBC live page the foreign minster of Libya (Gaddafi's!) has said that Gaddafi isn't in control and has no contact with his minister.
Journalists have been released from the hotel it seems, people were speculating earlier that Gaddafi is hiding under it.
Do any of you guys have any questions you would like answered by those in touch with Libyan Rebels?
Some properly eye-opening stuff here
Ninaj'd slightly, damn it.
Apparently the journalists in the hotel were being listened to and spied on according to someone who was in there for Sky.
Some properly eye-opening stuff here
The BBC are showing a pre recorded clip talking to him at the moment, its crazy. Apparently they didn't know at all what was happening and they thought that Gaddafi was still in control.
I actually wondered on Monday if the journalists in Rixos were safe with the loyalists and the BBC correspondent seems to have thought the same; I was worried that the army might decide they didn't want them broadcasting their "anti-Gaddafi propaganda" anymore
Does nobody have any questions they want to be answered by Libyans?
Does nobody have any questions they want to be answered by Libyans?
What is their hopes for the future of the country and what kind of role do you think Libya will have in the international community in 10 years?
Does nobody have any questions they want to be answered by Libyans?
Yes, i'd like to ask something. What what do they want to come of Gaddafi, do they want him dead, do they want revenge? Do they just want him gone? Should the courts handle it? What should happen to him?
What training do the rebel fighters have? Are they organised with a military scructure, as in commanders, and distinct units of soldiers?
How do you think the new goverment will do as leaders of libya?
Thats what I would like to know.
Does nobody have any questions they want to be answered by Libyans?
Does the avarage Libyan want the Islamic character of the state to stand out more?
According to the BBC: Libya's deputy chief of intelligence has switched sides and now supports the rebels.
(They aren't rebels now, what do we call them? The new government?)
The Rebel Alliance.

I already had the second question asked, Tripoli was 3 large units reporting back to a commander in West Libya with each neighborhood having locally organized militias

Wait a minute, this extremely small amount of evidence seems to suggest the opposite to all the other evidence
The extremely small amount of evidence must be right
