Glad my tax dollars went to supplying the next generations version of al queda
The article is worded like that on purpose to make you think they're recieving the arms for free (it's foxnews after all). However, they are actually being sold for 1.3 billion dollars, not given away.
Critics say the payload of sophisticated weapons will instead bolster the Saudis' continuing air war against the Houthi rebels in Yemen. That campaign is drawing fire from human rights groups, who say the kingdom has been targeting civilians with American-made weapons, and may be responsible for war crimes.
That's not the first time the US has given weapons to another country and help with war crimes. May i remind you of Saddam Hussein? it's probably going to end the same way. People don't learn.
Fucking why? Why are we giving anyone weapons.
You're surprised the biggest arms seller is selling arms to the biggest buyer in the world? lol.
This is mostly bombs, so the problem isn't that terror cells will use them on Americans, but that they'll keep blowing up civilians.
People wonder why we're friendly with Saudi Arabia. This is the reason; they play nice with us and buy our shit, every other country in the region hates us.

What in the absolute fuck are you doing, Obama?
What in the absolute fuck are you doing, Obama?
handing the republicans a free lead in polls
Have we not learned that this is a bad idea and these weapons will inevitably (probably) land in the oppositions' hands in maybe less than a decade?
Fucking why? Why are we giving anyone weapons.
We're selling the weapons, not giving them... We sell weapons to a lot of countries. The Saudis just happen to be one of our largest customers.
Why are we equipping the Saudi's anyways? Last time we sold them tanks, they took some light fire from AKs and such. The crews proceeded to bail out of the tanks and run off.
Why are we equipping the Saudi's anyways? Last time we sold them tanks, they took some light fire from AKs and such. The crews proceeded to bail out of the tanks and run off.
Well that' doesn't sound right
We're selling the weapons, not giving them... We sell weapons to a lot of countries. The Saudis just happen to be one of our largest customers.
We may love to point fingers at Iran, but Saudi Arabia is probably the largest radical islamist breeding ground on earth, they train them, they financially support them and no one bats a fucking eye. And now we're giving them even more weapons that will be used against us, brilliant.
I like how Obama constantly pulls the emotional appeals on the public against weapons, ISIS, and all kinds of shit. Meanwhile this is 1.3billion dollars of bombs going to a sketchy as fuck conservative Islam ran country and is likely going to kill more civilians than it does terrorists. (A lot like our own bombs)
Guys, come on. Saudi Arabia absolutely deserves 1.3 billion dollars in ordinance. The problem is the delivery method. It should be dropped on Saudi Arabia. Specifically their entire royal family.
Well that' doesn't sound right
Look at the Iraqi Army when IS started invading them. They literally dropped everything and ran. [editline]14th December 2015[/editline] Poor training and panic I guess.
It should be dropped on Saudi Arabia. Specifically their entire royal family.
From what I understand the royal family is actually a force for progress in the country. They're western educated and are trying to bring up the backwards ass people while conveniently hoarding power/wealth for themselves.
To me it's as if the dems are almost handing the republicans a victory given recent events
Republicans would be back in the office anyways.
From what I understand the royal family is actually a force for progress in the country. They have ridiculous ties to basically all major terrorist groups.
Every single Yemeni citizen, including Wheatley, are going to love this news. The moderates, the friends of the west...Why the people are being brainwashed to hate the refugees but not this kind of people are beyond me.
Fuck Obama.
The hivemind hate for this... No, guided bombs are not going to go to AQ any time soon, yes its morally questionable that they are going to be used in another proxy war between Iran and Saudi Arabia, but the Saudis are still one of the most stable allies we have in the middle East. If people would look it up, the Saudis have been buying modern American arms for 60 years now
Guys, come on. Saudi Arabia absolutely deserves 1.3 billion dollars in ordinance. The problem is the delivery method. It should be dropped on Saudi Arabia. Specifically their entire royal family.
The royal family is big, some of them are actually progressive and secular. Al- Waleed bin Talal, the richest Arab in the world, is huge on women's rights and refuses to employ men, he intends on donating most of his money away to some charities that empower women at some point. He also views democracy and the west as the light, he's pretty cool and should certainly not be bombed. The royal family can be used to turn the country into something much better but sadly the current king and line is shit.
Now we wait for the "Oops! Our fucking smart missiles with instructions in arabic and all the necessary equipment to use it and maps of all Kurdish and Syrian army positions fell into the hands of ISIS while the cargo plane made a fuel stop in Raqqa. Silly us!" news.
I used to like Obama, as a semi-ignorant Brit, but this is potentially a Merkel-tier fuckup
What the fuck
