This bill doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell, now.
This bill doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell, now.
Never underestimate the sheer stupidity of people, even more so in politicians.
So, in the end, the corporate sponsors of this bill will have only stood to squander many times more money than they would have saved from sales if this bill had passed. There's no way it will. The entire sane world is against it.
Good luck trying to get through a immigration system that is at least twice as hard as the one in America and has a system of rating you as a person based on your education, English AND French speaking capability, Work Experience, Age, Arranged Employment, Adaptability, Proof of Funds and any criminal records.
I work at a law office that has an immigration department. It's true that they look into all of that good stuff about a person, and its a fairly long process. But you'd be shocked at how many retards are allowed in the country. Somehow the most vile types of people slip through our immigration department.
If this passes, I got a one-way ticket to Canada.
Do you seriously believe this won't be exported to Canada and the UK as well? Canada and the UK are America's little buddies as far as copyright law is concerned. Sweden is probably one of the few countries out there that wouldn't completely sell out.
