Is there any way to watch past events? I would love to see this all but because this apparently needs to be multi-day and not a single day or whatever, it's timed in such a way that I'm either sleeping or busy whenever the next vote hits, so all I get to see is essentially loops of nothing

If you look at the stream and scroll down a bit to the channel description, you'll see instagram video backups. Probably not what you're looking for exactly, but it's the closest I can see
[sp]I'm glad Adam coming back means that idiotic "destroy Panchea" ending isn't canon [/sp]

Yeah, but [sp]Augs are now discriminated against globally for an incident that was out of their control with the truth being hidden, and Sarif Industries has gone bankrupt, meaning unless elements of the other endings are in there, the one ending that basically prevented all hands from getting anything their way means nothing now.[/sp]

Except that was the only ending that made sense.

As a sequel hook, sure, but Adam as a character wouldn't just kill all of those people if he had any other options

Which just underlines there shouldn't have been choices at all and they hamfisted them in.
[sp] It was repeatedly implied that the Icarus computer thing was completely necessary for panchea to not go collapse so you killing the computer to stop the signal should have brought the thing down inadvertently. It really feels like that was the intended ending but then they realised that this is the MORAL CHOICE GAME and that they have to put in a moral choice for that Deep Thoughtful Videogame cred[/sp]

Maybe if you're a fan of Casey Hudon. It makes the ridiculous assumptions that[sp] A: blowing up the station is any less of a decision affecting mankind's fate than anything else, B: making a decision that affects mankind is somehow worse than murdering hundreds of people, and C: that mandkind has some kind of gestalt will that can somehow be subverted by anyone doing something important. [/sp]

It's not about the assumptions about the world, it's about what could have possibly led to the DE original continuity.

Oh, well that's pretty why I hate prequels in general.

Considering Square's track record lately, this is pretty much the only time in recent history they've delivered on the hype they tried to build and then some. The leak took some steam out of it, but nonetheless we're getting a legitimate game this time, at least, rather than a PS4 port of FF7 or yet another mobile phone game.
Here's the music from the trailer grabbed from that code.

Okay, these "FLOATING IN WATER" scenes make it look like that panchea really did collapse, Jensen just somehow survived it.
Kinda ironic to put "A cyberpunk thriller where PLAYER CHOICE defines the world" as your tagline and then retcon all but one of the endings in the previous game (though I didn't really like the "please choose between these" anyway).
Anyway, HR was a really, really good game, so I'm not gonna complain too much.
Edit: And I hope they either upgrade the in-game cutscenes visuals or make them run in-engine.
All the Fallout games do that too and no one cares.
