They're all a bitch if you don't have armour and aren't carrying a bunch of guns, and stealth is impossible.
oh i see. i never really had real trouble with them, the three went down with a bit of Taser followed by .45 AP rounds to the head, altho Barrett needed some grenades, and the final one was easily killed with the laser rifle. i too wish there would have been stealthier options tho; i'm not going strictly stealthy or shooty myself, i like to mix things up a bit
what's wrong with the boss fights?
You have to kill them and be aggressive. If you're playing lethal it's no big deal, but if you're going for a nonlethal playthrough it breaks the immersion to HAVE to kill a boss (you could avoid bosses in the first game, or sometimes finish them with literally one word) and it's sometimes near impossible because you didn't pack up enough lethal weaponry and you'd end up stuck.
As nice as it would be to have it free or as cheap DLC, they'll probably pull a Doom 3: BFG Edition and release it as a separate product.
Still, I'm very happy to hear this is coming to PC!
My opinion on boss battles:
What's the point of playing Deus Ex if I can't sneak?

I wanted to kill myself fighting Barrett and Fedova with nothing but hacking and sensory augs, a dartgun and a taser.

On hardest difficulty?
Try doing the boss fights when fully ghost specced(no combat, only stuff to help you not be seen/avoid enemies)
To be fair, the boss battle rooms are usually full of guns. I distinctly remember a lot of grenades for the first guy and an HMG just before the server room (and inside the server room there was tons of ammo, too - and you could electrocute her in the water if you bought the anti-EMP-skin and damaged the servers). Not sure about Namir.
But it's still all about fighting bosses rather than sticking to the usual multipathing. I mean, it was outsourced to a shooter studio after all.
Sure, there was lots of weapons and ammo, but boss battles are supposed to be where all the skills you've been honing come together for a test of your abilities. If I've been shooting shit into dust for the entire game until the first boss fight, and all of a sudden I'm forced to stealth my way around and avoid doing any damage, I'm going to feel pretty annoyed.

I wish I was still carrying my taser, apparently it's one of the best ways to kill the second boss.

That's the important bit.

You can just punch Namir.

damn. the wiiu can't even have an exclusive port of a two year old game :\
I'd honestly pay for a DLC to remove the yellow filter without taking a shite on the framerate as the hacks do
Never got myself to play a second playthrough of this game, because of the boss fights and the annoying battery mechanics.
I would have gone for a second playthrough with cheats allowing infinite battery etc, but I never got around to that either..
Pretty cool game though, like Hitman Absolution. Kinda hoping for some new game that would do it even better.
If it was going to be free then they'd be screaming it from the mountain tops.

The electric shielding required four or five points in armour.
I never asked for this.
I think the graphics improvement is only for the Wii U. They said its best looking if the console versions and rivals/surpassed the PC version.
Well, to be fair the PC version was hardly a huge step up. It was almost exactly the same as console versions graphically, we mostly just got better AA and tessellation.

were you made when Hotline Miami got ported to consoles? No you weren't. There is literally no reason to defend exclusivity

There is a cheat engine script that makes all of your batteries recharge instead of just the first one. Having to launch the game, came back to windows, launch cheat engine, copy and paste the script and get back in the game every single time was tedious enough to discourage me.
I never asked for this.
Yeah, they should've kept the Director's Cut on a console that no one is going to play it on.
Yes, facepunch is anti joke. My mistake. Dumb ratings for a quote in the game. Well played. :)

Except that in every thread related to cyborg/Deus Ex/robotics/etc we get someone saying "I never asked for this"

Jokes are meant to be funny
The boss battles I resolved used cheesy tactics(hiding somewhere that barrett blows himself up, stun locking the second one and for the last one just use a laser rifle x2 clips on him).
The first boss I figured out after a try or two, I ended up hiding behind something in the room with all the ammo. I would pop out and shoot him when he reloaded or threw a grenade at me.
I had the grenade launcher for Namir.
He died pretty quickly.

It's wasn't joke, just a quote from the game actually.
i remember being able to punch Jaron in his face if you didn't get the new chip upgrade and he was jumping down from a wall
the 2nd boss was bullshit though
[editline]15th June 2013[/editline]
i mean you cold stun lock her but she was fucking invisible so it really just game down to luck
