• Wait, What? European Politicians Look To Ban WiFi In School... For The Children

Meanwhile all the schools in this area of the US have all been adding wifi over the past couple of years.
This has been blown out of proportion. Firstly, this is just a proposal, they haven't done anything yet. Secondly, this isn't an EU thing, it's from the Council of Europe, a completely independent entity with a separate set of member states and entirely different institutions. The Council of Europe doesn't have any actual legal powers, it can only recommend stuff. So even if they do decide to pass this, it's just a letter saying "hey member states, we think you should do this." If a government does believe that WiFi harms children, then they were probably already trying to ban it. If they don't believe it then that letter is going in the bin. This changes nothing.

If you want to go and look through all the proposals you'll find a few hundred dumber than this one. How many get through? None.
What so they're going to use dial-up or something?
hELP! HELP! I'M ALGERIC TO pHOTONS! Oh GOD THERE EVERYWHERE
Jesus. Come on coalition ,get us out of the EU now. We'll have to pay a Unicorn tax next.
A ton of people and politicians threaten/require to leave the EU. I'd really like to see a major nation do that and then see how long it takes for them to run back when they realize just how many benefits they just lost. There's a reason that even if Euroskeptics are elected the country still doesn't leave the EU. It's good for getting votes and all, but once you're up there and see how things are, it's not such a good idea anymore.
What so they're going to use dial-up or something?
They'll send telegrams. assign due tues stop essay > 500 wrds stop dbl-space stop
They'll send telegrams. assign due tues stop essay > 500 wrds stop dbl-space stop
But the ink might poison the children if they eat the paper!
But the ink might poison the children if they eat the paper!
don't eat paper either stop
don't eat paper either stop
But what if you fall in such a weird way that the paper flies into the air and gets dragged by the air conditioning and then goes on a tangent and goes into a talking child?
But the ink might poison the children if they eat the paper!
Even the paper might harm the children, they have sharp edges!
You'd be surprised how wrong your statement is.
Maybe you use pencils with lead in them, but most people don't. Lead is toxic, guess why they stopped using it.
Maybe you use pencils with lead in them, but most people don't. Lead is toxic, guess why they stopped using it.
Oh no, I ment by that that a LOT of people think that pencils use lead still. I didn't mean the part where he said pencils had carbon in them.
A handful of idiots are bound to get elected in every round of voting, no matter the government. The only reason I can think of to report a proposal that clearly has no support is that you have an agenda or you're really dumb because realistically if we reported every insane proposal of one member of a government (and the EU has a fucking massive number of MEPs) you'd find this is pretty moderate.
Maybe we should ban politicians as well
God dammit, news article. EU =/= All of Europe
extremely retarded and misleading source
extremely retarded and misleading source
Oh good someone else was thinking that, I thought it was just me.
Jesus. Come on coalition ,get us out of the EU now. We'll have to pay a Unicorn tax next.
There is no unicorn tax. Wanting to pull out of the EU because something you made up is retarded.
At least I would understand if they said kids look at porn all day, but this is just retarded. And the fuck is an electrosensitive person?
What the fuck is this shit. Hey guys let's ban electricity. Let's ban the sun. Don't forget, we also have to ban colour! BAN EVERYTHING
Stupid people in Europe? That can't happen, ignorance is local to us in the U.S.
And the fuck is an electrosensitive person?
Someone who blames their problems on electromagnetic fields.
Electromagnetic hypersensitivity (EHS), also referred to as electrohypersensitivity and electrical sensitivity (ES), is a set of claims of adverse medical symptoms purportedly caused by exposure to electromagnetic fields. Although the thermal effects of electromagnetic fields on the body are established, self-described sufferers of electromagnetic hypersensitivity report responding to non-ionizing electromagnetic fields (or electromagnetic radiation) at intensities well below the limits permitted by international radiation safety standards. The majority of provocation trials to date have found that self-described sufferers of electromagnetic hypersensitivity are unable to distinguish between exposure to real and fake electromagnetic fields, and it is not recognized as a medical condition by the medical or scientific communities.
Having children around each other can be dangerous, as one might punch another.

I doubt that even if you could sense an electromagnetic field with something other than your eyes, it would be of a higher wavelength than visible light. Radio waves are pretty low in wavelength, you know. That is why the longer signals are so good for long-range broadcasts, because the waves don't interact with matter nearly as much.
Having children around each other can be dangerous, as one might punch another.
The hard floor in schools is dangerous too because if a child were to trip they can break or fracture a bone.

Published by the author on his own website where he sells a whole range of products which are entirely 'non-toxic'. He also funded the study himself. 2. It was almost two decades ago. 3. It conflicts with current research. 4. The year the study was published, the journal went under.
My school is old and uses lead pipes which is a million times more harmful than WiFi.
