If we gave a shit about democracy we'd want the electoral collage to vote against the orange asshole. I'm not giving up so easily, not after seeing his draconian cabinet.
These weirdos trying to usurp the electoral college have no idea what they're doing. Even if they somehow miraculously managed to get a significant number of Trump electors to switch, a bunch of Clinton electors with Trump sympathies would just switch their votes as well.
You mean "sheep in wolf clothing"?
The more people do this, the more I suspect that some of the electoral voters are gonna be murdered, no matter what they do. Seriously, this election is really bringing out the dark underbelly of American politics.
Hey, remember when people got angry when Trump said he might not accept the results if he lost the election?
Man, good thing Clinton supporters aren't pulling any of that shit lately. Nuh-uh. None at all. Whatsoever.

Funny thing is I was never a Clinton supporter.

Kinda funny that you have to compare Trump to fringe Clinton supporters to make him look good. Clinton conceded, which basically shows that even though I have little admiration for her, she at the very least respects the process.

You don't think I support that retarded orange, right?
I'm just saying that with the protests, the #notmypresident movement and now this, it's kind of funny that Clinton supporters are, in broad terms, doing the exact same thing they railed against Trump and his supporters for threatening to do.

There's violent idiots of every political belief. Generalizing them as "Trump supporters" or "Clinton supporters" is dumb. I never thought for a second that Trump supporters, as an entire group, were going to be violent if he lost. Some would, no doubt - why would it be different for Clinton? These are individuals. Individuals demanded that Trump accept the results of the election. Other individuals, who also supported Clinton, didn't - and now they're being "hypocritical" because they're going against something that other people said.
Both sides need to stop treating the other side's voter base as a monolith. It's really dragging down discussion when people assume every Trump supporter is a racist homophobe and when people assume every Hillary supporter only voted for her because she's a woman. Some did, and some are, but that's not generalizable to the entire base.

People expected supporters of the opposing candidate to do this.
The thing people were pissed off about was Trump himself saying he wont recognise the results if he loses. A candidate should never take that stance and the fact he did is fucking disgusting.

and then he retracted that stance so what's the net effect here?

Clinton never said she wouldn't accept the results though. You can't hold supporters to the same standards as the candidate.
I think she has the integrity to not accept the result if the electoral college voted against the people.
I don't think she SHOULD (it would throw the entire nation into a civil war), but if she won the electoral college, there's no integrity based reason she shouldn't go into office. If she wins the college, she additionally also won the popular by 2 million, leaving very little moral reason to not snag that shit.

"if the electoral college voted against the people."
about that....
