Notch Getting Death Threats Over Minecraft Free Server Shutdown

I thought that site was a scam?
When notch said "Piracy isn't omg terribad", He didn't mean "lol pirate everything"
Yeah it's fine to pirate his game as long as he can go on vacation. He clearly felt the pressure so he had to save his vacation.
-snip-
Can't imagine the reactions if Garry does something similar or worse.

Stereotyping and ignorance is cool yo, watch me give away these company products
What do you mean, lawsuit?
Oh wow, Damn that's stupid. Sending threats to the owner of the game who didn't like his game being given away for free.
Kinda pointless don't ya think.
Just because he holds a laissez-faire attitude toward piracy doesn't mean that he should ignore it when its happening to his game right in front of him, you know.
i trust notch will choose the best course of action if his life gets in danger for real
Quake 3
im gon 2 kil u noche i know hiw to pirate ilegal softwares
Wait wait... If he challenged them to quake and lost, would he have allowed them to continue on?
More legal matters need to be solved over video games imo.
He's committing a crime, but if he wins in a videogame tournament he's free to continue doing what's obviously illegal.
Yeah no. We might as well throw a coin to decide who wins.
Oh, btw, they were from what sounds like kids, and I am not genuinely worried about my safety,
I never personally knew much about the extremity of the minecraft fandom, I had heard a few tales here and there but I was under the impression it was satire, this is hilarious.
Oh noes some pimple ridden geek with skin whiter than a macbook is sending death threats over the internet, panic!
Why do people take death threats on the internet seriously? They say they can track you down, but trust me, they can't. Plus it takes so much time and money trying to actually track someone down.
Oh, that site.
Thank god it's shutdown, everyone at my school used it everyday to play Minecraft on the school computers.

Tracking down someone popular like Notch shouldn't be too hard. Everyone already knows where Mojang is located and I assume finding Notch's private address shouldn't be too hard either. Most people own facebook or something similar these days. What would cost is actually getting there though.

Anyone can be found sooner or later with enough funding. That was one of the fundamental rules stated in "How to be invisible".
Better call the Notch Defense Force.

fuck u noch il kill u fuker
I bet all the people who sent threats do not even know which continent he lives on.
Man death threats are totally getting overused these days. Why don't you threaten to kill me, devour my body and then wear the skin left over as a hat? Then I would be pretty terrified.

Some guys kept stepping on the back of my shoe on a day I was pissy, I turned around, grabbed his collar, and threatened to skin him alive, wear his skin, live among his family in said skin and then kill them when they realize it is not him.
They stopped stepping on the back of my shoe.

Someone who's not a terrorist and instead is quite a popular ceo doesn't even require funding.

He's assumed dead. If he would be alive, he would be spending his money settled down somewhere and would be quite trackable.
