holy shit that bug is HUGE that's awesome as hell
Looks like a lobster or a crayfish, probably tastes like one too.
Fried crickets tastes like prawn. This thing should taste like a lobster.

Damn nature, you scary.
I really want a few of these.
I thought this was old news anyway, did the world not really know about Weta's?. The big ones

I guess most facepunch members have insect phobias. I only rated heart 'cause I found it cute. I want one as a pet, I'd give it a little top-hat, small cuffs for each leg, carry him around on my shoulder and I'd call him 'Little Liam'
Why would you guys rather have these big ones everywhere than small ones fuck that shit, the bigger the insect the worse it is
I'm glad I'm not the only one who found him kind of adorable. I h8 bugs but I like this lil' bugger.
I swear i've seen this guy in resident evil 5
That would make a neat pet if it weren't for the
GIANT FUCKING STINGER-THINGY ON ITS ASS KILL IT KILL IT KILL IT

I for one, welcome our new Insect Overlords.
That would make a neat pet if it weren't for the
GIANT FUCKING STINGER-THINGY ON ITS ASS KILL IT KILL IT KILL IT

It's for dejecting babies, dummy. Also, I still want one.
Why would you guys rather have these big ones everywhere than small ones fuck that shit, the bigger the insect the worse it is
Agree. If you stomp a big one, who's going to clean the mess? If you stomped this huge cricket thing it would leave a huge mess and possibly splatter over great distances.
It's both incredibly cute yet incredibly creepy. I'm torn about my opinion about it :gibs:
Isn't that a Potato bug? I've saw these around before.
Isn't that a Potato bug? I've saw these around before.
I thought they called potato bugs because they burrowed into potatoes. How can something the size of a potato burrow into a potato
This is incredibly awesome! I've been interested in insect ever since I was a kid. Would spend hours every day during summer looking for insects with my friends :v:
I don't think I'm heavy enough to crush one of those
I want one. I need one. I NEEEED ONE.
I want one. I need one. I NEEEED ONE.
Why? It's not even poisonous so pretty much useless for an evil army of insects.
That's interesting and cute. I've always been a bit of an amateur entomologist myself. It would be a shame to see them die out- I hope they reestablish themselves in time. I always feel happy when wonders like this are found.
I think would make for a pretty awesome pet.
My only fear would be accidentally squishing it.
WE MUST CLONE THIS WONDERFUL CREATURE AND MAKE IT A HOUSEHOLD PET.
I do agree it looks cute, but... No way in hell am I picking that thing up.
I'd have a heart attack if I found that in my house.
I would too, but if I had one as a pet then I'd feel different. They look kind of cute. Don't hurt his feelings :(
