I'm a Christian American.
What is up with these sweeping generalizations? Are you anti-christian?
what? no im not generalizing at all, its true that most American christians dont like gays. Thats why most gay supportive laws dont pss
...Lets fucking toss the policy then.
Welp, times up Repubs, time to show your true colors.
About damn time. No other military in the world that allowed homosexuals to serve has had any negative effects from it e.g. all but 2 NATO members.
It sure is a good thing that the 90% of the military isn't comprised conservatives from backwater red states.
There was someone on Facepunch that was a Young Earth Creationist, but I haven't seen him in a while, so I'm assuming he died from not having enough brain cells to keep his vital organs running.
We have all kinds of lunatics running about here, like hamsters on a wheel.
So I looked up the stats to see if I was right; I wasn't, and I apologize for being so harsh. Most people, religious or not, support repeal of DADT. Conservative republicans are really the only group where a majority opposes the repeal:

Conservative republicans as a subgroup, and strangely blacks as an ethnicity.
To be honest, I would think blacks would be one of the more favoring groups.
Why should sexuality even be a part of the military? You are gay, OK but I don't think anyone cares. Same for being straight. But this could be different from straight because men and women do not serve together.
So basically, I think they should ignore this unless it becomes a very big problem because unless sexuality has anything to do with shooting people they should be allowed to serve.
Also, I don't get why gays make such a big deal about this. Don't ask Don't tell was a good way of handling things in my opinion no one other than yourself should be involved in your love life.
I don't get it, gays are bad, but killing is perfectly fine.

Did you actually read the article? OR are you typing out your ass, its says that most of the Military could care less about sexuality.
The GOP will find a reason to opposed its removal anyway.
Of course they will. But hopefully we can get just a few of them to support it.
Why can't everyone just vote on the laws that give people the most rights without taking any away :(

Yeah these people might, but it still seems that in military policy, gays are prohibited i.e Don't ask, Don't tell

why should gays get to push their agenda and convert my children to homosexuality and other forms of heathenism they are evil corrupt people and they should be banished from this christian nation where we love each other as long as you're not a queer or a black
I, for one, enjoy DADT. When WWIII comes a brewin', and the draft letter comes in the mail, I have an easy ticket out. :smug:

You don't draft engineers into combat units, so I'm fine.
It's about time. If someone wants to serve their country and potentially die for it, sexual orientation should have no control over that. They're all heroes in my book.
