Canada's Marajuana Laws Made Invalid, If there is no new laws in 90 days, it's legal
...Banning anything is a bad idea. It only creates crime. It only sponsors and funds crime. Alcohol was illegal? Shit went down hard for a long time, there were criminal empires built upon that. Prohibition of all other drugs, formally known as the War on Drugs? Has literally only made the problem worse, drugs more prevalent and spent money doing absolutely nothing to enforce a supposed "moral" about what you can and can't do to yourself(hint, won't work). What would banning ciggs do? Frankly, I'm not sure it would cause a problem to that scale at all, but it would be a few steps back. Any prohibition is a step back.
Well ofcourse. Im just saying that if we had come at tobacco from a different angle, or atleast later in history, it wouldnt be so prevalent and accepted. No doubt that prohibition of it would be pointless and impossible. but its just stupid for someone to counter out of context with "its my body" when any relaxation they get from it is an ease of pressure that didnt exist before they started, as it slowly damages their lungs and teeth, which can then go to a circulatory system level.

Yes... There are physical changes that occur in your body. That's not what addiction is.

If you're a heavy user of marijuana and suddenly stop using, you're gonna notice some differences, but imagine what happens to a heavy user of nicotine or heroin. There is no physical agony that one goes through when deprived on the same level as a physically addicting drug.
That would be fucking awesome! Now all of those potheads can go tear up Canada with that shit and rid the U.S. of it!

I was just pointing out that you said there is no withdrawal associated with cannabis use. Of course it's many, many times worse than addictive substances such as heroin, nicotine, etc.

Never even mentioned the word addiction in my post.
