Obama is such a good speaker. Not as good as Caesar, Alexander or Hitler though. Also, yay Iraq.
But Hitler took Meth all the time. That's what gave him his charisma and made it easy for him to give a speech.
Silly Fox and their crappy editing. If you're going to change something, you don't make it conspicuous. But if I remember right, didn't MSNBC do the same thing with one of Bush's speech? (If there was any clapping). EDIT: And of course Obama is a damn good speaker, why do you think he's maintaining decent enough ratings. He knows what buttons to hit, and what words to say. In one of the most charismatic voices I've ever heard.
Be glad you don't have the BBC in America. It's like the most biased organisation ever.
We have BBC America, and its not bad. I mean, I don't think...
Glaber's justification: "Cutting out the audience clapping saves video time."
What a well thought out Cover-Your-Ass Excuse... now why didn't you cut the part where Obama was just standing there breathing in complete silence for 15 seconds
Fox News was butthurt so they rage deleted.
They don't want to show that the soldiers are happy to leave Iraq. Even though one would expect Fox News to do such a thing, the fact that THEY ACTUALLY DID IT boggles my mind. They're also pretty shitty at editing. I could have done a better job.

Is anyone old enough to remember? Or are they all up in arms about the fact that Obama is black?
Some poll (that I'm sure was taken out of context or had a shitty sample) did show them to be the most trusted news source.
Some say Jon Stewart is :smug:
They're probably the most trusted news source in Texas or Georgia. Also, The Onion is FAR more reliable. And that's saying something.
lol Fox at it again and they call themselves "the most trusted name in news."
And people belive them :S
Glaber's justification: "Cutting out the audience clapping saves video time."
While partly true. that's not my justification. I noticed the cut too and was wondering why I didn't hear any clapping. This explains it.
:foxnews: WHITEHOUSE.GOV ADDS APPLAUSE TO OBAMA SPEECH TO CREATE FALSE SUPPORT FOR SOCIALIST POLICIES, MORE AT 11 :foxnews:
Fixed.
While partly true. that's not my justification. I noticed the cut too and was wondering why I didn't hear any clapping. This explains it.
so do you support this
Glaber, if for a fucking second you support this, you've really lost your fucking marbles.
I have no justification for this, nor do I intend to justify it.
I have no justification for this, nor do I intend to justify it.
do you disagree with what they did
Actually, Yes. Contrary to how I show my self here, I don't always agree with Fox News.
lol Fox at it again and they call themselves "the most trusted name in news."
They don't have to be accurate to be trusted, that's the sad thing.

I'm not saying I believe it, but here's what they say about it:
It was a technical error, and nothing more, that led to the applause being omitted from FoxNews.com video of President Obama's speech to West Point cadets. The network says that a video editing error was to blame for the missing applause. A video editor took two separate clips that were meant to be used as sound bites that included what's known as "padding" at the end of them. Padding allows producers to fade in and out of segments without sound. The speech aired as delivered, with applause, on TV air; the edited clip only appeared online.
Source: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/05/25/fox-news-video-omits-appl_n_588447.html

I'm not buying it
Obama is such a good speaker. Not as good as Caesar, Alexander or Hitler though. Also, yay Iraq.
what are you talking about Alexander wasnt a good orator at all [editline]04:12PM[/editline] in fact i remember in Parallel Lives that Plutarch noted the difference in Caesar and Alexander's ability to speak
Fox News always stretch the truth
