Good thing AT&T don't exist in the UK. Our internet is shit though.
What the hell. Talk about bogus.
AT&T has lower speeds than Comcast, a lot lower, and costs more.
Pretty much, I get 6/0.6 with a 150GB cap for over 40 bucks. Only reason we still have them is due to the fact that Comcast does not reach down here. We are bundling it with DirecTV and their phone service.
Already in progress to switch ISPs
Time warner cable san antonio has no caps, but it is slow.
Already ordered Time Warner Roadrunner broadband. They'll be here on Friday. Later AT&T
After 8 years of ATT, Which ISP should i goto? ... I mean I am tired of these Speeds slowing down at night recently for no apparent reason. The best with no caps, etc service, price? San Jose area, If anyone knows. whats the best ISP in the area.
I said this before. Comcast put 250GB a month limits in October 2008, at least thats when I think it was, I dont remember because it doesnt affect me still. At our current state of tech 250GBs a month is more than enough unless you're a cockhead pirating HD movies 24/7.
Cox Communications for the win! [editline]5th May 2011[/editline]
I said this before. Amazon and other Web services download HD content? My download this last month was 412 GB

It's weird how you're asking this when you're living in Silicon Valley

Edit: I take it the dumbs are from teens who rely on their parents for net and they're mad mommy and daddy wont pay for business class.
What the hell. Talk about bogus.
9 of 10 of all the customers we asked (more than 10!*) said they wanted caps. *It was twenty, thank you very much. And 16 of them were also employees.
FiOS, or if you don't like the price, Xfinity. It's weird how you're asking this when you're living in Silicon Valley
I know, haha. Eh Would love hear fp responses though.
Ziron works for AT&T
You know what I want AT@T, since you would "listen" to me, is to shove a fat baseball bat up your ass.
Bull fucking horse shit.
Screw ATT. It's all about the small local ISPs who have no caps.
Screw ATT. It's all about the small local ISPs who have no caps.
How would I go about finding one in my area?
Oh yeah, I was just clamoring for it.
Sure, if they provided the best service and were actually worth a damn this may work out for them. Unfortunately for them there are thousands of other ISPs with equal service who now have a lower price. Keep up the great work losing customers AT&T [editline]4th May 2011[/editline]
How would I go about finding one in my area?
Seriously? Google "ISP in <Insert town name here>"

Or unrelated stuff like multiple computer repair shops.
If this was true they should have introduced a new, cheaper plan with a cap and left the unlimited plan alone
Anyways to everyone complaining about speeds, try living with 1Megabit/s. At lease I have unlimited :downs: Unless it does slow down to that speed. Then I feel your pain.
"Our customers want to pay us to provide a much worse service"
Hey, it's true for activision.
That's weird AT&T. I, nor do any other members of my family, nor any friends with your service, remember asking for a "generous" cap of our bandwidth.
Anyways to everyone complaining about speeds, try living with 1Mb/s. At lease I have unlimited :downs:
Compared to when I had dialup, 1 mbps would have rocked.
Anyways to everyone complaining about speeds, try living with 1Mb/s. At lease I have unlimited :downs: Unless it does slow down to that speed. Then I feel your pain.
Your a fucking whiner. I have 128KB/s. I would love 1Mb/s
The cap is 150gb or something right? That's 5gb per day. I have AT&T, and I'm way under 5gb per day so this doesn't affect me so whatever.
Shit, I'm on AT&T. This is bullshit.
People thinking 250GB as some unattainable limit by any normal means obviously don't do much more than look at forums. Allow me to inform you. This video here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MZzU5Db_-yg), is 91MB. That means watching roughly 60 minutes worth of 720P video is about 540MB. Say I watched 8 hours, we are up to 4.3GB now. Not from playing games, not from images loading, not from doing anything else but watching videos. Now that is for one person. If you had 2-3 people doing this you could reach the cap within a few weeks. Not counting if they download anything or visit any other site on the internet or do anything else. In this day and age of the internet, 250GB is nothing. It hasn't been anything for a long time. The only people that think 250GB is anything but shit are people that don't do anything serious with their internet, or people that don't understand how data hungry the internet as a whole has become. Further reason as to why AT&T are fools by going backwards like this. Them going backwards isn't going to make the amount of data that is used any less, as time goes on it's only going to increase. Simply put, AT&T is just a fucking embarrassment to logic by doing this. As are all ISP's that have caps for that matter.
