its like, my opinion that a: those aren't true, and b: i'm a primordial sex god
i support the idea of putting felons to labor, but this isn't the way to go about it
Those are just statistics that are based on facts in reality. Do you expect me to take them seriously?
as opposed to statistics that aren't based on facts in reality?
I do try to and I fail at it because no matter who you are or where you are there is some task some job that someone is willing to pay you to do.
Man not life is not like world of warcraft.

Yes, exactly
if by "not very much" you mean "very much" then yes, you're right

Alright well then you are right but still if you don't want to have to deal with that then don't go comit crimes and get sent to jail. simple
What happens if they don't pay? They go to jail? Kicked out?
They go to super jail.
Yea basicly and if you read the article it states that they only charge you if you are finacialy able to pay for it. And ok you don't want to go to jail for smoking weed? Then don't smoke it.
What if I use a vaporizer?
Alright well then you are right but still if you don't want to have to deal with that then don't go comit crimes and get sent to jail. simple
of course! why didn't all the poverty stricken criminals who turn to crime because it ends up as the only way to actually make a few bucks think of this ? ???
What if I use a vaporizer?
You can possibly get caught then you face fines and or imprisonment. It depends on your state.
Alright well then you are right but still if you don't want to have to deal with that then don't go comit crimes and get sent to jail. simple
You assume everyone has complete knowledge of the law code
How about trying to save money instead and not put people in jail for some stupid reasons like smoking cannabis.
of course! why didn't all the poverty stricken criminals who turn to crime because it ends up as the only way to actually make a few bucks think of this ? ???
Because they are criminals and they don't care that there are actual honest ways to make a living.
You get caught then you face fines and or imprisonment. It depends on your state.
But It's not hurting anyone.

Do you make your living by making dumb ignorant posts on facepunch?
But It's not hurting anyone.
I never said I agree with the criminalization of marijuana I just said if you are not willing to face the possible consequences of your actions then don't do it.
Because they are criminals and they don't care that there are actual honest ways to make a living.
it's kind of hard to find honest ways to make a living when you grow up in poverty and into the criminal lifestyle from an early age. the shitty economic situation doesn't help either.
You don't know how people act when they truly, honestly believe they have hit rock bottom and that there is no other way to make a living.
It's almost like a cornered animal. Survival instincts kick in and override everything else, including common sense.
But fuck people who were already well off and decided crime paid more. Those are the kind of people that need to be locked up.
Why shouldn't we do this? They committed a crime, forfeited any and all rights they had under the US Constitution, and the taxpayer is forced to pay for them to get to lay around, watch TV, get a degree, exercise at their leisure, and get three meals a day. I, for one, think this is a good idea. Actually, the jail in AZ with the pink jumpsuits, PB&J all day, and tents is a lot better. There it's about $0.86 to keep a prisoner for a day.
Because when they get out they'll have no money and they'll have to resort to crime just to survive. They can't get a job because no one wants to hire a criminal.
How do I know? Because this already happens with people who have no money coming out of prison.
There's actually quite a bit of places that will hire people with criminal records.
But chances are they're just to going to fall back into crime because it's all they know.
Because they are criminals and they don't care that there are actual honest ways to make a living.
You are a child.
What happens if they don't pay? They go to jail? Kicked out?
It clearly says those with assets such as televisions will have too pay, and if they don't, they don't get a TV in their cell.
I never said I agree with the criminalization of marijuana I just said if you are not willing to face the possible consequences of your actions then don't do it.
Are you just that lacking in perspective that you can't even fathom why someone might turn to crime without being malicious or "not caring".
Alright well then you are right but still if you don't want to have to deal with that then don't go comit crimes and get sent to jail. simple
how old are you?
are you seriously being an apologist for prison rape and assault with the reasoning "WELL DONT COMMIT CRIMES IF YOU DONT WANNA GET RAPED"
you're an idiot.
Alright well then you are right but still if you don't want to have to deal with that then don't go comit crimes and get sent to jail. simple
I would ask if you always drive the speed limit and never go even 1mph over, but I don't think you're of driving age.
The jail will soon be divided into corporate bastards who were thrown in for scandals, and separated from murderous thugs
"Hah! We have the gold trays!"
Alright well then you are right but still if you don't want to have to deal with that then don't go comit crimes and get sent to jail. simple
OK, bullshit. You are not 18 years old. You're lying about that.
If you don't pay for your stay, you're sent to a smaller cell. This keeps happening until the cell is 1 cubic meter in volume. After that point, they just fill the cell with cement.
Alright guys, time to legalize.
Meth, that is! WOW, betcha didn't see that one coming!
Alright guys, time to legalize.

Meth is already legal, just in the prescription and medical sense.
They prescribe it for ADHD and Weight loss, prescription name "Desoxyn".
This is stupid, prisons are stupid. Fine and execute people.
