I agree the sentence was too easy on her.
idk i think being a victim of a sex crime is probably worse
Depends, for this guy it was stressful but not that bad. But imagine being in jail for months or years being accused of one of the worst crimes ever and knowing you are completely innocent while everyone calls you a monster and not believing a single word you say. Being raped is horrible, but that doesn't sound that much better either.

How did she get away with that 11 times? Looking like that? [editline]26th February 2013[/editline] The 8-9 people before must have had awful defense attorneys not to be able to dig up her history of rape alligations.
the law doesn't play by "boy who cried wolf" rules. every accusation must be investigated seriously or there's no point
But this information could be presented in a court of law, and combined with a lack of rape evidence the case could be dismissed and older cases re-opened.
I'm pretty sure it's every man's fear to be falsely accused of rape, let alone falsely convicted of it. It scares me how fast your whole life could be ruined in the span of a single day.
I remember reading a horrible story on one of those ask reddit pages. Don't know if it's fully true, but I thought I saw a news article on it. This guy in his 30's, middle school teacher. Grades a girl badly on an exam. Her mom finds out, and accuses him of molesting her daughter. It's a small town, he's immediately fired, and now the entire town loathes him and treats him like shit. The daughter, I think, tried to tell people she wasn't. If I remember right, the daughter kept trying to change people's minds, it was the mother who was mad at him for failing her daughter. He had to move out of town to another state and get a completely different job, because he couldn't be a teacher anymore. Never convicted as there was no evidence, but that small town instantly just hated the shit out of him. I wish I could find the post.

I know you can be 'suspended pending investigation' but you could fight it if you were sacked as they had no reason to
You're telling me this cunt falsified 11 rape cases got 10 months before and is now getting only 16 more? This shit could ruin a mans life and they're only giving her 16 months?
Are you allowed to sack someone if they were never convicted? I know you can be 'suspended pending investigation' but you could fight it if you were sacked as they had no reason to
Part of me thinks it was the perfect story. Because as far as I recall, he said that no one would represent him in the city and he'd have to get outside legal help, but he said that even most of his family despised him because of it. Even if he got the job back, he has no reason to live there. Sounded like a shit town, or the best depressing movie plot.
Should've taken authorities far less than 11 offences to penalize her. She got exactly what she deserved, imo.
any hiring is presumed to be "at will"; that is, the employer is free to discharge individuals "for good cause, or bad cause, or no cause at all," and the employee is equally free to quit, strike, or otherwise cease work.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/At-will_employment

I'm surprised when she made the claim the people didn't just look at her and go, "HA, yah right..."
I'm surprised when she made the claim the people didn't just look at her and go, "HA, yah right..."
to be fair I imagine a lot of prostitutes get raped, and she does look like a $1 hooker
Are you allowed to sack someone if they were never convicted? But you're probably right.
she should have been jailed the first time
I'm surprised when she made the claim the people didn't just look at her and go, "HA, yah right..."
Rape is generally about power not attraction
Rape is generally about power not attraction
no
Also for people who would rather a source that isn't the daily mail I found this
Rape is generally about power not attraction
I think it can be either.
no
Ok so why is rape in prison so common if gay men are, at most, a quarter of the population? Please enlighten me about how modern psychology is entirely wrong, once again, oh keeper of hidden wisdom because here's what's currently known and the sexual gratification theory really has no legs to stand on
Ok so why is rape in prison so common if gay men are, at most, a quarter of the population?
Couldn't one of the reasons be pent-up sexual frustration, it's not as if they have access to their partner in jail.
If pent up sexual frustration leads to rape then half of Facepunch would be out raping people right now
Ok so why is rape in prison so common if gay men are, at most, a quarter of the population?
because jails are full of violent people and people that are disproportionately likely to be psychopaths who value their own short-term pleasure at the expense of the feelings of other people and long-term consequences. it isn't a representative sample of the population at large by definition. also the conditions in jail strongly select for strict dominance hierarchies and the very nature of prison means it's difficult to get away from multiple abusers i mean yeah power is a significant aspect of prison rape, no doubt about it, but to say that it's the only explanation (or to say that the explanations needed for prison rape are congruent to rape in society at large) is to be willfully ignorant of male sexual urges
If pent up sexual frustration leads to rape then half of Facepunch would be out raping people right now
I'm sure one of the reasons a lot of people are in jail is becasue of a lack of self control.
those beautiful boobs on her chin man she's hot
no
yes
Pretty easy to tell if she has had sex with someone or not. Just xray her partner to check for a broken pelvis. And perhaps their eyes, because something is clearly going wrong with those too.
