Are earthquakes, tsunamis, and hurricanes signs of the apocalypse? Michelle Bachmann thinks so!
Don't people always do this?
Yes, but it's a bit different (in an extremely worrying way) when a politician says it.
Edit: well apparently it's a fake site, should have seen that coming really. But it would be extremely worrying if it was a legit thing some one in a position of power had said.
I am praying for the good Americans about to experience #Hurricane #Irene. Stay safe and consider why you deserve it
I have no words to describe this.
A humble mother, loving wife, former tax attorney, and unparalleled conservative icon, Michele is a true American.
If I wasn't already in profound disagreement with Bachmann on pretty much every single issue, this single line would be enough to stop me from voting for her. I can't fucking stand it when candidates (typically republicans) for any kind of office assert that they're "more American" than their opponents, and thus you should vote for them. It reeks and drips with condescension and contemptuousness. It's anti-democratic and fascist-esque to allude that a certain set of policies or a certain flavor of governance is "more American" than the next.
sometimes I just wonder how human beings are born like this. her and anyone that supports her
smh
Uh, is it just me, or does anyone else think that the site posted in the OP is satirical? Don't get me wrong, I think she's completely insane, but quotes such as these
She was elected in 2006 to the House of Representatives, where she has fought tirelessly to slash government spending and to fund infrastructure projects in Minnesota’s sixth district. Some narrow-minded politicians cannot understand how she can slash spending and build a new St. Croix River Bridge at the same time, but not Michele. She has the courage and breadth of vision to achieve these paradoxical ideals via a bold mechanism sure to enrage liberals: by combining them with tax cuts.

Bachmann is the latest in a string of increasingly mainstream conservative politicians to advocate funding massive tax cuts via the mutilation of Social Security because we’ll all be dead by then anyway.
sound pretty satirical to me.
i can't imagine how some people make it through the day with how dumb they are
Well she's insane so this is no surprise.

Oh thank god yes. I was beginning to worry that someone as close to being president as her actually thought this way.
How does a person like this get elected to office I mean holy shit
Put enough monkeys in a room and they will eventually create a work of Shakespeare. Put enough fucking lunatics in a voting district and you get a Batman villain.

Oh god I think it's actually official.
Whew. False alarm people. I'm pretty sure this is a satire site, that twitter included. OP, what the fuck?
These natural disasters are sign that God doesn't want Bachmann in office. If she gets in we're all going to seriously die.

Notice how it says "The Official Twitter Account of VoteBachmann.org", not "the official twitter account of Michele Bachmann."
I'm pretty sure Bachmann's real twitter would have more than just 1944 followers.
Guys it's okay this isn't real
seems like a troll site

I hope the crazy religious people live to be like 500 hundred years old so they can see the futuristic utopian world driven by science we live in and we can laugh at them in our bitchin' robot bodies.
Maybe they all have it backwards.
God isn't coming to wipe out sin. God is coming to wipe out all theinsane christian extremist nutjobs who are ruining society.
This, coming from a fellow christian. But a real one, not a psycho nutjob.
Remember when the world was supposed to end on may 21st 2011 according to some other chrstian lunatics? Man people like that give religion a bad name, and they are the reason religious wars rage throughout the world. They are to blame and no one else.
This clearly isn't her website.
Was listening to Bachmann's (actually real) live broadcast, and she seems to be asserting that the fall of Britain as a superpower was due to the fact the US lent it money. Apparently the over expansion and the two consecutive world wars had nothing to do with it. She also said that we bought their bonds with the Lend-Lease Act, when that isn't the case. We GAVE them money and armaments to fight with.
She then used this faulty analogy to explain why we need to gut the government.

That dude ended up saying it was a spiritual rapture and that it did happen. The real rapture with fire and brimstone is coming sometime in October.
Sweet mother of god this woman is stupid.
This is the kind of shit I would expect the leader of some extremist Christian group to be rambling on about, not
someone who is in an actual position of power.
Explaining her hardline position, Bachmann said that “America is a tolerant and welcoming nation, but Islamic weather cuts us to the core. These haboobs smother entire cities in their abrasive sand, making no effort to integrate into the local weather patterns. Ripping corn fields and dew-covered mornings, both staples of American identity for generations, are buried by these coarse foreign-inspired storms.” The blame, said Bachmann, lies squarely with President Barack Obama. “Is it a coincidence,” she asked, “that these Arabic-style sandstorms have become commonplace under our current president? I’m not saying that he is invoking the power of Allah to destroy our country, I just think it is an interesting coincidence.”
