"I am praying for the good Americans about to experience #Hurricane #Irene. Stay safe and consider why you deserve it" Because they have a retard like Michelle Bachmann in politics?
That dude ended up saying it was a spiritual rapture and that it did happen. The real rapture with fire and brimstone is coming sometime in October.
NOT FOR BF3!!!!!!!! If that dude was such a believer and said the rapture DID happen... Why is he still here??? LOL So they are extremists AND liars
She needs to do humanity a favor and shut the fuck up already.
I say some of that shit is a result of the magnetic poles shifting, but that's really the worst of it. The world is fine, it does this shit, we are not going to die. Lady is a nut case.
in the future, if it already happened, you got to be insane to become a politician or attempt to become president.
She is from one of the handful of states that allow marriage between first cousins. I ain't surprised she's dumb
its weird that a state can be so backwards in so many ways but so progressive as far as marriage
Bachmann/Palin 2012!
Not really a sign of an apocalypse, but it clearly shows how defenseless we are against nature at its wildest. And we probably haven't seen the worst of it.
Obama has nothing to do with the earthquakes unless there's something hidden going around where the government can now control the weather and control natural disasters. Cut it out.
This is why I'm a nihilist.
I think life in prison would be worth removing her from office if she ever does get in. I'd rather not live in a society where she leads the country. At that point it would be either that or emigration. What scares me worse is the news is not treating ANY of this as if it is completely insane. They are just reporting it as if none of what she says is completely fucking absurd. Her views would lead to either the destruction of the civil rights movement or at the very least a complete stop of progress for her term(s)

How did she even get to run? And by the way, 2012 is around the corner. It's cool, man.
Please god do not let this insane bitch become president.
My god can this woman get any dumber?
to me it's pretty obvious premarital sex saved our society. just imagine our shitty society. now imagine our shitty society full of people who haven't got laid. things would be on fire.
Uh, is it just me, or does anyone else think that the site posted in the OP is satirical? Don't get me wrong, I think she's completely insane, but quotes such as these sound pretty satirical to me.

seems like a troll site
As much as I hate Michelle Bachmann, I'm gonna have to agree with you guys.
http://twitter.com/#!/search?q=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.votebachmann.org%2F2011%2F08%2Fsigns-of-the-apocalypse%2F

Also the tweets only go back to the 17th.
Running a WHOIS, the domain was registered on August 11 which is pretty recent (and also a bit far too late for someone who's been already running for President for a while). The tweets CarbonKnight referenced to belong to the owner of votebachmann.org, not the official Bachmann tweeting account. The hosting is provided by Bluehost, which seems too cheap ass for an presidential campaign to be using. Also, the logo banner seems like it was by someone with bad MS Paint skills, and the site (which uses WordPress) uses some ghetto free WordPress theme (http://www.votebachmann.org/wp-content/uploads/ - copy of theme contained within twentyedited.zip), rather than getting a professional customized one created which is what is typical done businesses and professional situations. Also the Donate button links back to the index page. Further analysis shows the domain votebachmann.org has been heavily promoted and referenced on 4chan /b/ board: http://www.google.com/search?q="votebachmann.org". I'm also willing to bet, that the OP even got the source off 4chan himself. Also, doing a search via Bing/Yahoo/Google, I cannot find any other sources that can verify Bachmann said these quotes. This leads to my conclusion, that I'm pretty sure votebachmann.org is part of a disinformation campaign created by someone just to troll people (and it worked judging from the reactions here). It probably would probably be easy to confirm this by sending an email to whoever is in charge of managing Michelle Bachmann's campaign team. I really don't like Michelle Bachmann, but if I'm gonna hate on her, I want to hate her for what she truly believes.
This woman is a raving lunatic the likes of which I've never seen. I'm going to be seriously worried if she is ever elected to anything.
“There are reasons why bad things keep happening,” explained the woman, who asked that she not be named, “and I am damn sure it has something to do with our immoral society. People think too much of sodomy and not enough of Sodom!”
I heard that Michelle Bachmann will eventually dissolve into the sea like the braindead scum she is. Hey, I have circumstantial evidence for it, I can jump to conclusions!
"Hey guys, the world is ending, so you should vote for me. I mean, why not?"
I like her logic. 'Vote for me, the world's going to end! Even if God doesn't make it happen, then voting for me certainly will!'
Sorry, I'm just tired of Bachmann and I just want her to go somewhere far, far away from civilization. She just needs to find some little uninhabited island in the middle of the ocean where she can only spew her stupidity at crabs and coconuts.
What, you want the crabs to kill themselves?
What, you want the crabs to kill themselves?
Poor crabs. I think that's a bit unfair to the coconuts, too.
You know when someone posted a link to Fox News where they had linked to a The Onion article about Obama sending out some angry email or something, and all the people on the site just said stuff like "Yep, that's something Obama would do all right." Remember how we all laughed at the idiot commenters? I like Facepunch, I really do. And I'm pretty freaking liberal, especially for America. But I can honestly say I haven't seen such a collection of fringe far-lefters anywhere on the entire internet. You guys aren't making yourselves look too good for any moderates or conservatives that may be browsing.

Generalization, much?
So because we believe that one republican is stupid in the face of evidence, we're all super left-wing all of a sudden? Generalization, much?
If you believe Bachmann would say something that inhumanly stupid, to the point you wouldn't even BOTHER to go to the site to see if something's fishy, or read any of the various posts that point out that it's satire, yes. You're far-left and gullible.

I mean I am about as Leftist as you can get, and I dislike Michelle Bachmann for entirely legitimate reasons. You're far-left and gullible.
I'm only here to poke fun at her. I doubt that someone is this stupid, yes, and I don't even support a particular party. However, you've still assumed that, even if I am gullible and believed this without a doubt, I could never be anything other than a far-leftist without any actual opinions. Edit: Also, you have assumed I'm an idiot who hasn't read the whole thread and instead just jumped to comment. Edit X2:
As do I, but if someone's perception of the republican party is so bad that they'll hear a politician with a reasonable about of support has said something like this, and they don't even blink... there's issues.
Perhaps the issue is less with the opposing party - of which there are many - and more with the party that seems to be at fault? Not everything that comes through the media is bullshit, y'know.
You realize that this site isn't just Americans, right?
Absolutely, and I never implied otherwise.
I mean I am about as Leftist as you can get, and I dislike Michelle Bachmann for entirely legitimate reasons.
As do I, but if someone's perception of the republican party is so bad that they'll hear a politician with a reasonable about of support has said something like this, and they don't even blink... there's issues. [editline]26th August 2011[/editline] You know what, never mind. This isn't a fight I want to have.
You know what, never mind. This isn't a fight I want to have.
As it happens, neither do I.
