Oddly the same with Norway considering it's one of the safest countries in the world
That's because Anders Breivik was responsible for 70% of the homicides that year
He killed 42 people.
Well yes obviously but before he started, the actual reason why he started.
That is something that intrests me.

... joke?
calling brazil a shithole is an exaggeration, brazil main issue is, and always has been, the ridiculously high inequality, some areas look like something you would see in the better areas of western europe, and others, look like the worst places in africa and they tend to be side by side.
here is a famous and excellent example of that

That's how I felt in the Dominican Republic. I have a rich aunt and I'd walk out of the ridiculously huge penthouse to go eat a lobster breakfast stuffed with $100 bills or some shit and every morning I'd see the locals on the other side of the fence.
houses have three walls at most
burning trash to cook things
using plastic bags as stove lids
kids playing with glass bottles in the mud
It was a cool vacation but holy shit did I feel like an ass every morning

1st class view to poverty

One of my favorite quotes from Max Payne 3 was in the beginning, you're in a penthouse overlooking the Favela
"Nothing like the view of crushing poverty to make a cocktail party really swing."

Max Payne dialogue got pretty cheesy sometimes but that one was too spot on to how these countries work.

Are you calling his question a joke or do you think the original post is a joke?
It's actually true, the data for Norway are from 2011, the year the attacks happened.
111 people died that year and Breivik killed 77.
Without that attack Norway's rate would be 0.6, one of the lowest in the world

Serial killers do some pretty fucked up things without being caught. It has little to do with how violent is the city or how incopetent is the police force and more to do with how long the guy stalks his victims and how much can't give a fuck about what does.

oh wtf was i doing then
i am confused
how the fuck can he do that without being caught?
I mean, if you really think about it, if all of the victims are people you don't know, and you let nobody see you ever near the victim, what are the chances they can catch you? Even in the US and if you left evidence (i.e. your blood) at the scene, if they don't have a reason to check that it is your blood, would they be able to track you down? There's no way it's some CSI shit where they can just scan your blood and find your identity :v:
