did i say they werent, its not a bad thing they believe that they dont deserve to be called dumb by some joke of a teenager with child issues. i doubt you've read it recently saying as your accounts everywhere are covered in ATHEISM RULES CREATIONISM SUCKS METAL YEAHHHHHHHHHH (pro tip buddy creationism isn't a belief or lack before you start being a whiny little bitch)
Yeah, how dare I forget to update things years old. And I'm not a "teenager with child issues". And how does ANY of that interefere with me reading the bible? Again, i've acknowledge it's a literary work worth reading before. Does that mean I'm religious? No.
And yes, THEY DO deserve to be called dumb for believing things we can prove are not that way. Why DOESN'T that deserve being called dumb?
that was the joke thanks for making sure everyone picks it up!
I assumed it wasn't considering I've never seen someone defend Catholicism while simultaneously making an lol molesting joke

oh the classic IVE NOT UPDATED IN YEARS IM TOTALLY DIFFERENT NOW, maybe you should start acting like it?
you've acknowledged it's work worth reading yet the metaphors (probably the sole reason for reading it) are shit? haha yeah right bud sure you have
and no they dont deserve to be called dumb, many people have different reasons, reasons you should respect. i have many strongly religious friends, i don't go around calling them dumb because they don't believe in evolution or some silly whatnot, i wouldn't do it to a stranger either cause im not a complete dickhead
Why DOESN'T that deserve being called dumb?
when you walk up to a person and call something himself, his family and everyone he's ever been friends with believed in devoutly stupid that causes them to not want to respect you
it's basic human socializing skills to know that insulting another person's beliefs is a bad idea.
I assumed it wasn't considering I've never seen someone defend Catholicism while simultaneously making an lol molesting joke
i'm not defending catholicism/protestantism or any other kind of ism im defending people's right to have those viewpoints and trying to teach this guy to respect peoples reasons for having them!!!

The wrong answers are the wrong answers, and believing the real answers are wrong isn't a good fucking idea. Why are you defending being stupid? You're actually saying "It's ok to be fucking stupid".
And yeah, your point? I don't use my youtube account anymore, so why the fuck would I update it, and seeing as 100% of your bullshit ad hominem attacks came from that one thing, what else do you expect? Go ahead and say what you want, but you're the one saying it's good to be fucking stupid.

I wouldn't ever go up to someone and tell them their opinion is dumb. I have no reason to. However, if it's ALREADY a subject that's out in the open, I'll call it stupid for valid reasons.

I respect view points people actually have to think about to hold. You're asking me to respect blind faith. No.

faith is never blind
I find it funny that our independent catholic schools (I go to one) is more dedicated to science than religion.
plus, this is only in the news because the primary school was public, there are a couple of "alternative" schools here that teach this garbage.

First of all, religious people can be smart, no where did I deny this. They're not literalists. They're not fundamentalists.
And faith is blind, the very purpose of faith is to take something without evidence as true, and then hold it as true EVEN after it's been proven not to be. That is NOT a good way to think.

i didnt say religious people i said creationists, creationists I know which you said were dumb because of their viewpoint, as long as there is a reason for faith it isnt blind and I think youll find those without one aren't enthusiastic about it

how about you produce some evidence for this statement?? i dont see anything wrong with a little faith as long as it doesnt bring harm upon others

A reason for faith? You mean a coincidence?
And creationism is stupid. How can you deny it? It goes against all current science and can't even be reasonably justified with pseudo-science, and people want to teach it as science. You're defending this.

Maybe I'm overstepping in my defintion of faith, but faith is still something that, when it comes to anything in the realm of science, or even close to that, has no place. Sure, faith in your fellow people or whatever is fine, and that's faith everyone should have, but that's not the faith I'm talking about, and I'm sure you know that.

but right now we're not talking about science. i agree fully that faith has no place in science but i see nothing wrong with someone having faith in their everyday life.

a reason for faith can range from your family dying to one of these "coincidences", and yes creationism isn't exactly logical imo but think about the reasons they think that science is dumb?

That they're under-educated and are the literal definition of dumb? Meaning only "Un-educated"? yeah, that's why.
And sure, people have faith for thousands of reasons, but people often make those reasons seems "holy" when they're simple coincidences they can't see due to emotional engagement.
but right now we're not talking about science. i agree fully that faith has no place in science but i see nothing wrong with someone having faith in their everyday life.
Which is indeed where I overstepped. If you're talking on an every day basis, while I don't think faith is a great thing, having faith probably isn't bad in a day to day sense.
That they're under-educated and are the literal definition of dumb? Meaning only "Un-educated"?
no it means slow to learn and/or impossible to educate or incapable of talking
no it means slow to learn and/or impossible to educate or incapable of talking
my bad then.

"im not saying creationists arent smart im just saying theyre the literaly defintion of dumb"
"people shouldnt have emotions it makes them dumb"
"im not saying creationists arent smart im just saying theyre the literaly defintion of dumb"

Yes, people who aren't educated and believe that a system which can be proven wrong on a daily basis are dumb. I'm not getting your sarcasm here?
And no, having emotions isn't dumb, but ignoring the fact people get emotionally attached to their own issues and can't often see the logical side of things IS A FACT OF FUCKING LIFE. You're again trying to deny that, or make it sound like a good thing.
"im not getting the obvious sarcasm"
"having emotions isnt dumb but being effected by them is"
"im not getting the obvious sarcasm"

Jesus christ, either you're a troll, or actually this stupid.
If you can't admit that being overwhelmed by emotions, then relying on emotions alone for a decisions is stupid(Albeit, sometimes entirely unavoidable) then there is no help for you because you somehow think it's good to be stupid.
And yes, i don't understand your sarcasm here. I'm not contradicting myself in saying some religious people are not dumb, but that creationists are. Creationism is in fact dumb.
youre still making it sound like you're calling having emotions stupid
youre still making it sound like you're calling having emotions stupid
Then that's what it sounds like, but I'm not calling it stupid.

being overwhelmed by emotions isnt a bad thing, referring to faith to overcome it isnt a bad thing, i know creationists smarter than you
being overwhelmed by emotions isnt a bad thing, referring to faith to overcome it isnt a bad thing, i know creationists smarter than you
Cool, cause you don't even know me and are thusly judging my intelligence, so I love how much you know me from this conversation about how teaching creationism as a science is ok.(That's what you're getting at.)
And no, being overwhelmed by emotions isn't a bad thing, making decisions purely out of that is. There's a reason psychologists and such say to step away from your problems before trying to deal with them.
ive talked to you long enough to tell trust me, and if you dont mind go back through my posts and tell me where im advocating replacing science with creationism.
also if you dont think someone has the right to refer to religion say when a loved one dies without being called stupid then you're an asshole
ive talked to you long enough to tell trust me, and if you dont mind go back through my posts and tell me where im advocating replacing science with creationism.

They can do whatever they want, I'm not about to stop them. Does that mean I have to respect everything? No, and you'd be hard pressed to not think anyone is stupid ever for any reason. Emotional decisions can be stupid ones, it's not like I'm about to call out people for their emotional decisions.
And I don't care how long you've "talked" with me, you don't know, and I don't know how smart you are, we're talking on a limited subject, apparently my intelligence is entirely represented by how I personally feel about the ideas of faith and "creationism". Oh wait, no it fucking isn't. I don't respect creationist beliefs, and I don't care if I'm an asshole for such an action. You're free to believe what you want, I'm free to think what I want.
And you're right, you never did say that, my bad.
you dont have to respect anything but you should, but im not about to teach you basic social skills. also "quotations" make you look smart
you dont have to respect anything but you should, but im not about to teach you basic social skills. also "quotations" make you look smart
No, you don't need to teach someone with many friends basic social skills. Wait, aren't men that are categorically claimed to be assholes, the ones who don't respect anything, the most socially successful males on average?
I respect lots of things. Not respecting religion or creationism isn't a social problem.
The religions of the world have been very active lately, has anyone else noticed this?
