In that case, the burden of proof should be on the killer because the other side is, well, conveniently dead.
How could you possibly prove beyond any doubt that you weren't out for blood? The only way that could happen is if we could read minds or if polygraphs were 100% reliable.
That's also not how the US justice system works but w/e
In fact it looks like a peaceful protest to my eyes.
Yeah, its all peaceful. But they're all making it about race.
wow this makes sense
if you didn't see the whole trial
Don't you love it whenever people act condescending instead of trying to point out why the said statement was incorrect?
Don't you love it whenever people act condescending instead of trying to point out why the said statement was incorrect?
because race had nothing to do with the judgment of the jury.
because race had nothing to do with the judgment of the jury.
I didn't mention anything about race.
Watching this protest is making me lose faith in humanity.
Remember how the sex of the jurors was this big issue before and now that people got the verdict they wanted it isn't
Watching this protest is making me lose faith in humanity.
They're bringing up Rosa Parks now. This is sad.
I find it concerning that Zimmerman only received that charge on the account of his own perspective. If I remember correctly, the witnesses didn't view the duration of the scuffle.
It's up to the prosecution to prove Zimmermans claims as false. They couldn't find evidence proving that he was lying so we presume his innocence.
If the reverse had happened, Trayvon would have been slapped with a manslaughter charge.
It's possible, but irrelevant.
Don't you love it whenever people act condescending instead of trying to point out why the said statement was incorrect?
That's just how Take yo replies in these threads, even to people who are actively agreeing with him.

My faith in women is restored.
I didn't mention anything about race.
Yes you did, indirectly
I find it concerning that Zimmerman only received that charge on the account of his own perspective. If I remember correctly, the witnesses didn't view the duration of the scuffle.

What is the reversal of the situation then if it is not?
Watching this protest is making me lose faith in humanity.
Let's not be melodramatic; this trial has emotions riding high and the verdict was passed a mere 2 1/2 hours ago. As long as these protests remain non-violent, I think we'll be okay.
My faith in women is restored.
#Justice4Zimmerman
I should go be a shit disturber and start claiming that the only reason zimmerman was found not guilty was because the jury was biased

#whitepower (even though he's not white many believe he is)
Kind of glad people are protesting. It's for a cause I wholeheartedly disagree with but it's peaceful and it's people doing something about a percieved social injustice.
Kind of glad people are protesting. It's for a cause I wholeheartedly disagree with but it's peaceful and it's people doing something about a percieved social injustice.
uhhhhhhhhhhh
Yes you did, indirectly
Then your claim is incorrect.
What is the reversal of the situation then if it is not?
I should have elaborated myself more, the case focused on character assassination and the injuries inflicted. Many people have pointed following is not a crime, which is why I said that Trayvon would be charged. However, if prosecutor brought up Zimmerman's history and other similar incidents, it would have been reduced to a manslaughter verdict.
God damn that stream.
UH HUH!!!
AH HUH!!!
ALL YALL
TRAYN STATION!!!
god damn this one guy
Kind of glad people are protesting. It's for a cause I wholeheartedly disagree with but it's peaceful and it's people doing something about a percieved social injustice.
Maybe some are peaceful, but according to the San Francisco police scanner, things don't seem too peaceful at the moment.
Kind of glad people are protesting. It's for a cause I wholeheartedly disagree with but it's peaceful and it's people doing something about a percieved social injustice.
Of all the things that have been going down lately, this is way towards the bottom of the list of things people should be protesting about.
uhhhhhhhhhhh
Peaceful protesting sets a good example, if someone feels they were wronged it's how they should go about it
Peaceful protesting sets a good example, if someone feels they were wronged it's how they should go about it
sure but the verdict of the zimmerman trial isn't something that should be protested about compared to what's been going on recently with the nsa and shit.
Maybe some are peaceful, but according to the San Francisco police scanner, things don't seem too peaceful at the moment.
Oh well if that's the case then disregard my previous post.
Finally thank you trey martin was not a good kid in his early days, has been in jail for a long time and was in a gang or so. Anyways meanwhile in the ghetto's of new york city...
and today we learned that our justice system isn't totally ass backwards.
sure but the verdict of the zimmerman trial isn't something that should be protested about compared to what's been going on recently with the nsa and shit.
There isn't a limit to the number of protests that can go on at once
By your logic people shouldn't protest the NSA because homeless people are starving
This might be the most backwards protest I've ever seen.
and today we learned that our justice system isn't totally ass backwards.
The exact opposite for the media
sure but the verdict of the zimmerman trial isn't something that should be protested about compared to what's been going on recently with the nsa and shit.
You're right. However it's better than a bunch of fools throwing shit around and causing chaos.
Can someone give a good explanation as to why he's not? The story has been skewed for me so many goddamn times because I never kept up with it. I've been told shit like "well a racist cop saw trayvon exit the convenience store, so he informed zimmerman and zimmerman shot and killed trayvon" from "a 17 year old thug attacked and maimed zimmerman and in defense of his life, zimmerman pulled out a handgun and proceeded to let out one round in an attempt to prevent perishment". It's a bunch of sensationalism oh my fucking god
