Can someone give a good explanation as to why he's not? The story has been skewed for me so many goddamn times because I never kept up with it. I've been told shit like "well a racist cop saw trayvon exit the convenience store, so he informed zimmerman and zimmerman shot and killed trayvon" from "a 17 year old thug attacked and maimed zimmerman and in defense of his life, zimmerman pulled out a handgun and proceeded to let out one round in an attempt to prevent perishment". It's a bunch of sensationalism oh my fucking god
we've explained it several times for you already when you asked the previous 2 times. NOT ENOUGH EVIDENCE THAT SUPPORTS THE CHARGES HE WAS FILED WITH.
these protesters in the stream are fucking morons
oh okay, i cant really remember what i posted and its not like i can search through my posts durp
Zimmerman did nothing wrong and the fact that this case was spun up so much by the media is such atrocious bullshit and the idiots thinking that he did it because he's racist or some dumb shit are morons.
aint no party like a people's part 'cause a people's part dont stop
Then your claim is incorrect. I should have elaborated myself more, the case focused on character assassination and the injuries inflicted. Many people have pointed following is not a crime, which is why I said that Trayvon would be charged. However, if prosecutor brought up Zimmerman's history and other similar incidents, it would have been reduced to a manslaughter verdict.
The first part was my rebuttal, the second part was the evidence of what I was saying. If I am reading what you said right, if Trayvon had killed Zimmerman in the fight, he would of gotten charged with manslaughter? That is more understandable now, provided Trayvon didn't claim that Zimmerman attacked him first, thus allowing him to use self defense as his defense.
sure but the verdict of the zimmerman trial isn't something that should be protested about compared to what's been going on recently with the nsa and shit.
But the Zimmerman trial made people forget about the NSA. Also congrats to Zimmerman.

If the dispatcher told him not to get out of his car, he shouldn't have gotten out of his car. It's as simple as that. You do whatever the fuck the dispatcher tells you to do.

Did they just briefly chant "Let him die!"?
This sort of social response kind of makes me want to curl up in a corner and never go outside again. Too much stupid out there.
You can't legally hold him culpable for ignoring the dispatcher but you can say it just wasn't a very good move.
Oh completely, but he could've avoided all of this if he had just stayed in his car.
Did they just briefly chant "Let him die!"?
no they said fucking punks
Oh boy. The horrible disease of ignorance has spread to New York City. http://www.ustream.tv/stopmotionsolo
Hell yes! Finally a correct verdict from a trial that's been bastardized by TV! Fuck you TV mongers and your Sensationalist Media! God Damn that makes me feel happy. LETS GO SHOOT PINE CONES MOTHERFUCKERS!!!!!!!! YESSSS!!!!!
why hasn't there been any discussion on what prompted zimmerman to make the call to the police in the first place what exactly made him suspicious
why hasn't there been any discussion on what prompted zimmerman to make the call to the police in the first place what exactly made him suspicious
trayvon was black
why hasn't there been any discussion on what prompted zimmerman to make the call to the police in the first place what exactly made him suspicious
A string of recent robberies coupled with a suspicious person with a hoodie walking around.
why hasn't there been any discussion on what prompted zimmerman to make the call to the police in the first place what exactly made him suspicious
oh my fucking God, did you not watch the trial or read any of the handful of dozen posts explaining why?
standing on peoples lawns and peering into houses
reading this post took me three tries because I kept seeing it as "peeing into mailboxes"
why hasn't there been any discussion on what prompted zimmerman to make the call to the police in the first place what exactly made him suspicious
a. there were a rash of burglaries in the area b. he was looking into windows and cutting through back alleys
oh my god these tweets how does being young make you innocent :psyduck:
I see no justice. All I see is a dead kid and a man who was proven innocent but will most likely still face problems from other upset people..
why hasn't there been any discussion on what prompted zimmerman to make the call to the police in the first place what exactly made him suspicious
Because the neighborhood was having issues with people stealing their stuff or something to that effect, even if he did have increased suspicion because Trayvon was black, why not? And no, I'm not racist for saying that, sorry that I'm not an ignorant and naive child.
oh my fucking God, did you not watch the trial or read any of the handful of dozen posts explaining why?
well I can't say I've had as much of a zimmerboner as you no (User was banned for this post ("Then why reply?" - Starpluck))
Racism still goes strong unfortunately. And sadly it does heavily effect the justice system. Another thread has links to another case where a woman was convicted for 20 years for firing warning shots. She was indeed black. Is that a case of racism? I don't know. But it's pretty fishy that someone who fired a warning shot got 20 years, while someone else who fired a shot that killed didn't get anything.
Well, in that case she did kill the person. However her defense said that she had intended them to be warning shots and that she was protecting herself from an abusive husband. Like this particular case there was no direct witness but the jury found her guilty and the presiding judge said that there was no way to allow it to be under 20 years. They've been trying to get it retried several times, including one saying that it should've been valid under the state's stand your ground law but they've been denied retrials. The trial did not get much attention though due to a variety of factors. A case could be made though that the Judge really wasn't impartial in his decision of sentencing there. And unlike the case here she didn't have the support networks and donations that Zimmerman's defense and prosecution got.
why hasn't there been any discussion on what prompted zimmerman to make the call to the police in the first place what exactly made him suspicious
Someone in the area had been robbed recently apparently. You should probably read up on this. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/State_of_Florida_vs._George_Zimmerman
trayvon was black
$20 if it was Zimmerman that was on that lawn and Trayvon making the call no one would of cared but because Trayvon was seemingly a poor, innocent, black kid then all hell breaks loose.
