Stuff like this just fuels the fire for actual racists :v:
Anyway, I'm glad he was found not guilty. The prosecution practically had no solid evidence, let alone enough to prove his actions made him guilty. Here's to hoping that he sues NBC for a LOT of money, because let's face it, due to those pricks his life is effectively ruined. If there are riots, they are the ones to blame.
oh man look at that page full of people who feel disenfranchised by the justice system. that sure is some epic win, lol
people who want to ignore the justice system and evidence because they're uninformed yes I think it is quite silly
I stopped caring about CNN's opinion after they decided to paint a rapist being found guilty as a victim.
Those poor rapists had their football careers ruined.
CNN is just disgusting, sometimes even worse than Fox news.

The system worked really well though.

They can feel disenfranchised if they choose, but the prosecution really had a weak case and they were completely unable to provide any compelling evidence that Zimmerman was guilty. Putting aside emotions, this seems like a victory for the justice system from where I'm standing.

oh man look at that page full of people who didn't watch the trial / have no understanding of how the justice system works

Well, can they back up their opinion with evidence, or is it just an emotional reaction from them? If it's the latter...then they're just being stupid.
EDIT: What's surprisingly me is that, on the forums I frequent, only Facepunch and Reddit seem to be in favor of the "Not Guilty" verdict. Interesting.
Here's what I think people understand regarding the legal system:
It's not about what you think happened or what your gut says, but what evidence there is. And from my (albeit slightly limited) understanding of the case, he was being attacked and felt he needed to defend himself. That's what the evidence shows.
Also, I doubt we'll see any Rodney King-esque riots. Maybe a few dozen people here and there, but no one will get their head smashed with a cinder block.
The second the news came out, I have heard fireworks outside my window, so I don't know if they're related or not but I still find it funny.

That anyone supports Zimmerman is a sociopath, duh.
SigmaLamda: Substantially lowering the level of public dialog since March 2006.

Looks like Zimmerman will have to go back to court for another self defense case

lol, a reporter straight up asked Angela Correy "What physical evidence led you to believe that Zimmerman is guilty?"
"...the point of this trial was to give Trayvon Martin and George Zimmerman a day in court"

He died months ago, why would we be sad that a person who we've never met in our entire lives died almost a year ago? You're just being oversensitive.
you sure they were fireworks...
My town hasn't had a gun violence crime in, like, 20 years, so I'd assume so.
Look, it was a really fucking unfortunate thing that happened, and I do wish the best for Trayvon Martin's family, but I mean if Zimmerman's not guilty, he's not guilty.
