So I suppose the fact that a man stabbing a pedophile in the streets of LA for molesting and then strangling his daughter means that every American is a brutal thug? (To use an equivalent example, not a factual story) Get off your high horse, you aren't getting enough oxygen up there
I didn't say everyone there was a brutal thug, but their apparent actions from what we know were, in my opinion, savage mob mentality. Of course Gaddafi was a shithead but he should have been tried and held accountable for his crimes, and then served a fitting punishment afterwards. All they did was give him an easy way out and made themselves look uncivilized in the process.
He used to look like a god damn soap star! also, dude on the right. :pwn:
That's Hafez Al-Assad, the father of our current resident fuckhead in Syria, Bashar Al-Assad. On the left is Anwar Sadat, I think. Former President of Egypt.
He didn't deserve to be flat out executed, he deserved a trial.
Yes, he did. He killed thousands of people over 40 years. [editline]20th October 2011[/editline]
That's not what I asked for. I know he's dead but I'm asking if he was arbitrarily executed by the rebels upon capture.
Apparently he was shot in the stomach once when he was captured. He bled to death.
the news reached hitler
Gaddafi's face is kind of like cheese in the sun; as it sits out for longer it starts to get grosser and melt.
His face looks like it was carved out of a mold of Kraft velveeta.
I thought they cut off his head there for a second.
It looks like he is missing his eyes in that picture. Was he dead when they took the photo?
Why is Gene Simmons laying down in his own blood?
Every dictator ended up hiding in a hole. Hitler had his bunker, Osama often hid in a cave, Saddam hid in a hole, and Gaddafi was hiding in another hole in the sewer.
lol at the privileged white folks condemning an oppressed society for celebrating an end of a dictator that fucked them over for decades
I agree and disagree with this post. On one hand - yeah, most of us have no fucking idea what these people have gone through. We've got no comparable life experience. We can sit here all high and mighty watching from a distance and scold them, but really we have no right to do such a thing. And on the other hand, if they're looking to become a more fair society, even pave the way to a democracy comparable to that practiced by most of the 1st world, Western countries in the world... they should have looked past their own anger and hatred. They should have looked past their want to end the man who had caused them so much pain and loss. They should have given him a fair trial and not gone, "oh no, he's the exception to the rule!" or, "we'll start being fair AFTER this one man."
he wasnt executed
I had a dream that they captured him before I woke up today. You have no idea how surprised I was to hear this on the morning news.
Here's a bunch of photos of his corpse (NSFL, obviously)
I fucking hope they still keep the same Socialist standpoints that Gaddafi created but with more democracy, Libya wasn't all that bad for a african/middle eastern country. There is a big chance they will fuck up.
apparently this is the guy that killed him, he looks younger than I expected http://twitpic.com/735cz6/full
...and the world evens out again. We lose Steve Jobs, everyone goes a bit emo, Gadaffi dies, back to a state of indifference. YAY! On topic: Well done rebels, I'm happy for your victory.
apparently this is the guy that killed him, he looks younger than I expected http://twitpic.com/735cz6/full
Kinda looks like Che Guevara to me.

Idk if this has been posted yet but it's a video of him being alive right before being executed
It's so satisfying seeing his fucked up corpse. It's good to see something like 3g1h, only the guy deserves it for a change. [editline]20th October 2011[/editline] Someone save these videos and pictures just incase they get deleted.
Obviously he was a terrible person, but why are you guys CELEBRATING the killing of another person? It's quite sickening. The same thing happened when Osama was killed. [editline]20th October 2011[/editline]
It's so satisfying seeing his fucked up corpse.
Uhh..
Uhh..
He was a cruel dictator who had no redeeming qualities whatsoever. He deserved nothing but a painful, prolonged death.
He used to have it all, and now he lost it all, even his life. He had his chance to walk away when this all started. He could've been in London or Italy right now, enjoying the crop he harvested from his people. Now he is dead, and it is no one's fault but his own.
This would have been over a while ago if the Western powers hadn't gotten involved. I personally think that Libyan forces would have crushed the rebel forces if no western countries sent any aid.
I don't know what my dad was thinking when he said that the dictator wanted to help his people instead of causing so much violence. That didn't mean he thought he was good, though. He just felt bad for him. I may have just heard him wrong, though. I've got pretty bad hearing.
Libya is now truly fucked, he would be so much more worth alive. Instead that had to rage kill him, it's beyond retarded. These people are no different compared to Gadaffi, put a good example for fuck sake.
He was a cruel dictator who had no redeeming qualities whatsoever. He deserved nothing but a painful, prolonged death.
I think you're taking it a little too far there. He still was another human being, and torture and murder is NEVER right.
I think you're taking it a little too far there. He still was another human being, and torture and murder is NEVER right.
Gaddafi isn't a human being. He's a monster and deserves to be treated as such. Some "people" honestly just need to die. I do agree that him being alive would've been much better, so we could learn more about his regime, then put him on trial and kill him, but I'm glad he was fucked either way.
