Good riddance.
Gaddafi is dead horray.
nice gun dude
They shouldn't have done that. He deserved a trial, not killed in the streets like a dog(metaphorically I mean, he deserved that too, sorta). What I mean is that they should have given him a fair trial by jury, it only makes everyone there look bad when they indiscriminately kill someone.
Considering how he probably killed many of their friends and family, I really doubt the rebels gave much of a fuck about what he did or didn't deserve.
Looks pretty dead to me..
Deserves it.
just looks a little odd among the swarms of ak's :v:
nice gun dude
Is that the guitar man on the left screen?
Just got banned from the Gaddafi Loyalists Facebook page for posting photos of the dead bastard all over their wall. In denial! :v:
nice gun dude
At first I thought you were talking about the guitar to the left :v:
I would've preferred a trial...
Whoa, they just showed the video of him being killed on AJE.
I feel sorry for him, seeing him like that.
Whoa, they just showed the video of him being killed on AJE.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=Qx7WoOxHCqc this one?
I feel sorry for him, seeing him like that.
Considering what he did to other people, I don't.
Yeah they just showed footage that the earlier still was taken from on BBC. His body was being paraded through Sirte.
Those rebels really did go a long way from Benghazi to killing Gaddafi. Lets just hope they can actually become a republic and not another despotism.
Yup, the rebels are using either AKs or FALs most of the time. It's kinda odd how you see russian machine guns from the 70s, F2000s and H&K rifles among them.
Special forces weapons.
Is that the guitar man on the left screen?
hahaha let's hope so!
So, what happens if the new government ends up being just as bad as Gaddafi?
So, what happens if the new government ends up being just as bad as Gaddafi?
Considering they've put in sharia law they pretty much are.
Now put his body on trial. And have someone to voice and hold his body.
I have been waiting for 247 days to hear this news. When the protests started on February 15th, I immediately tuned in to AlJazeera and CNN for the latest news, and I have tuned in every day since. Gadhafi used warplanes, ships, and a multitude of soldiers against his own people. Now, they have turned against him, and won. This civil war is over.
Sounds like the intro of a movie
Considering they've put in sharia law they pretty much are.
It's a placeholder while they draft a proper constitution and ready themselves for democratic elections.
Yes, he was a monster, but really, shooting him for the sake of revenge then parading him around makes them just as bad.
CBC has reported that within the last two minutes his death has been confirmed.
Yes, he was a monster, but really, shooting him for the sake of revenge then parading him around makes them just as bad.
No it doesn't, not even close.
So you think it's just fine and not barbaric at all?
No it doesn't, not even close.
It's still terrible, that he will never be brought to trial, that he will never be held accountable for his actions. And his only punishment? Dying on the ground in agony for some mere minutes before his vision faded to black. A lifetime of inflicting pain, for minutes of suffering. Sometimes, the world just sucks.
CBC has reported that within the last two minutes his death has been confirmed.
Why do you go by CBC? CBC has no Libyan correspondents because they're a stupid news broadcaster like all other Canadian news outlets its repackaged British or American news.
