what the hell, when did Fox news become so blatantly in favor of Christianity, it's so fucking clear, quoting Jesus and getting up in arms DEFENDING Christianity. Unbiased my ass, News Corp.
The Muslim thing is just one thing they use in their little bullshit template: Well if _________ did this same thing then ___________ would be so angry about it!
I'd hit the reporter.
facepunch atheists lmao

Ugh... the only thing I heard when Lars Larson was talking was:
Eh, I guess it could be a little offensive to some, but I showed this to a few buddies who went to a catholic school for 9 years, they laughed at it. I can kind of see a lot of people getting angry about an Islamic version of this too.
Fuck off. This is Fox News we're making fun of, not religion on the whole. I think FP is fine with Christians as long as they don't go "YOU MUST FIND YOUR FAITH IN JESUHS, I WATCH FOX NEWS. VIDEO GAMES ARE SATANIC, etc etc etc"
lol no
What I hate about religion is that they get offended so easily, whether its a joke or not, I really doubt Jesus would give a fuck if you said a joke about him, so why do christians?
"God obviously has a sense of humor he gave us the Democratic party."

I think the stereotypical black woman was more offensive...if anything.
Faux news. :downsbravo:
Fixed.
nice persecution complex there lars
How is this mocking Christianity exactly, and why do you personally feel insulted by this commercial.
The body and blood of Christ is a sacred thing to them, this is mocking it.
Fixed.
you do realize thats pronounced "foe news" right
James Rolfe (Angry Videogame Nerd) has an appearance in that ad. Full ad: at 0:37 the AVGN appears.
Wtf, it didn't even mock it as "the blood of christ" or something, the church just held free snack sundays or something. Goddamnit Fox news.
Very cool the nerd was in there. I can see how some Christians can be offended by it, the guy brought up a good point. Nevertheless its pretty silly to get wrapped up in it. As far as the Muslim comments before, why can't people accept the reality? Yes, she shouldn't have brought it up, but if anyone was implying that Muslims wouldn't have gone batshit insane if something similar was done with Islam are in denial.
Also the Muslim thing is ridiculous, by his logic shouldn't they show themselves as above petty behavior like that? OH WAIT, LOGIC LOL NVM [editline]4th January 2011[/editline] Also I thought it was a pretty cute commercial.
I see what your problem is, :foxnews:
The body and blood of Christ is a sacred thing to them, this is mocking it.
It's not really "anti-christian" though. It's a light-hearted joke.
if anyone was implying that Muslims wouldn't have gone batshit insane if something similar was done with Islam are in denial.
whatever you say
It might work better if instead of communion, it was the snack bit after the sermon has ended. If they replaced the coffee and doughnuts with the Doritos and Pepsi, it could still work.
"Fair and Balanced" Three of the people in the news coverage were christians.

"God obviously had a sense of humor. He gave us the Democratic party." Clearly he has a sense of irony as well.
What I hate about religion is that they get offended so easily, whether its a joke or not, I really doubt Jesus would give a fuck if you said a joke about him, so why do christians?
The small loud minority does, not your everyday religious person. I could go down to a church in my city and almost everyone would laugh at this.
remember the muslim reaction to draw Mohammad day? yeah, me neither
Might of misunderstood me, that was the point I was making.
You know, I almost respected the guy's arguement as valid until he said
God obviously has a sense of humour, he gave us the Democratic party!
And it's amazing how following that they just laugh. If the other woman had said
Blahdy blah blah REPUBLICAN PARTY
Everything would've been silent for a few moments.
