Just invade the stupid vatican and take him to court. What's the pope going to do, send out the Swiss guard These guys mean serious business.
Then you get every other country in the world on your ass for invading a peaceful country.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diplomatic_immunity [editline]06:07PM[/editline] so stop targeting one person just because you don't agree with their religious beliefs. there are thousands of people that hold the same amount of freedom from prosecution. [editline]06:07PM[/editline] the Vatican is technically its own country. the pope is just a diplomat.
I'm an athiest, and I believe Religion is harmful to the word. First off, the pope is different from those other diplomats because his right to power came from Religion. And I would be equally supporting the prosecution of any diplomat who protected some kiddy filders.

Extremists are more common in religion, but seriously, what you're saying is just flat out retarded. It's the people with religious power who are genuinely harmful. But yes, religion should slowly die off, but slowly.
Protected persons are entitled, in all circumstances, to respect for their persons, their honour, their family rights, their religious convictions and practices, and their manners and customs.
[editline]01:08PM[/editline]
Just cause The reason for going to war needs to be just and cannot therefore be solely for recapturing things taken or punishing people who have done wrong; innocent life must be in imminent danger and intervention must be to protect life. A contemporary view of just cause was expressed in 1993 when the US Catholic Conference said: "Force may be used only to correct a grave, public evil, i.e., aggression or massive violation of the basic human rights of whole populations." Right intention Force may be used only in a truly just cause and solely for that purpose—correcting a suffered wrong is considered a right intention, while material gain or maintaining economies is not. Last resort Force may be used only after all peaceful and viable alternatives have been seriously tried and exhausted or are clearly not practical. It may be clear that the other side is using negotiations as a delaying tactic and will not make meaningful concessions.
