That's great I loved the 1930's, and I would be depressed if his claim turns out to be WRONG!
when you accidentally elect the literal forces of darkness to the highest office possible
Unfortunately for a great number of people, this was no accident.
And War Is Peace, Freedom Is Slavery, Ignorance is Strength right? Fucking hell he sounds fucking crazy.
what the fuck are you even saying
He is saying that they have no association with the Deck Cheney, Darth Vader, and Satan and when liberals think that they do, it helps them, because it deludes the liberals or something.
They aren't going to "hold power for 50 years"
Donald is a bumbling idiot who has no idea what he's doing, Congress was won by a hair, and this entire election was a wake-up call for the disaster that is the Democratic party to get its shit back together.
If this guy seriously thinks people are going to sit on their thumbs and 'darkness will reign for 50 years', than he is going to have a wake up call come 2018-2020.
If he's trying to provoke people by saying these asinine things about darkness and evil, he fails to understand that hes basically shooting himself in the foot thematically because all those villians eventually lose.
Dick Cheney. Darth Vader. Satan.
What a grouping...
lol 50 years you're lucky if you get 8
It sounds a little national-socialist rather than economic-nationalist, with a side-order of massive potential to further destabilize the US economy and plunge it into Zimbabwean levels of inflation.

im pretty sure this song is more fitting

All horrible rhetoric aside, I'm REALLY excited for this infrastructure overhaul. At worst it's an overly ambitious plan that will go nowhere, at best he's totally right, it could put us into an industrial boom that rivals that of the great war economy.
I wonder how Christians who voted for Trump feel about him giving a notable position to someone who thinks being compared to Satan is a good thing...
what the fuck are you even saying
he literally essentially is saying "if you only knew the power of the dark side"
trump's chief strategist comes from a website where there is an entire section entitled 'black crime' and we are told that Trump is not a racist

Remember when dems' similar plans were criticized for driving US into catastrophic debt?
were these quotes taken from his deviantart page
Trump:"Ok bannon the queers are scared, the libs are scared, the economists are scared, basically 51% of the population that didn't vote for me is scared, say something to reassure them"
Bannon: EH HEH HEH HE HE. WE ARE EVIL AND WE STAY FOREVER WE WILL CRUSH...
Trump (quietly): oh god damnit.

I doubt it'll happen, under Donald's tax plan we simply won't have the money for it. If he goes through with it anyway, it'll go straight to the national debt. The next president will end up having to deal with a national debt trillions of dollars higher than it is now. Also Donald Trump has complained about the national debt being too high, ironic that he'll be the one to drive it to historic levels.

It's kind of funny but it seems that might be sort of happening behind the scenes.

Now our only hope is the faithless electors. If they fail and allow these monsters into office, the United States is finished.
Remember when we thought the fever dream would end after the election?.
Oh boy we were wrong.

Trump is swayed by the last person he talks to, In fact that is one of the reasons, Jared Kushner may end up fighting bannon.
Edit: In fact the kids, basically didn't want Bannon at all in the Trump Administration.
all this time i thought the ride was over
and it turned out i was just on the line

No, if the don't elect Trump the United States is finished. They'll be mass riots in the streets and extreme violence.
The only way Trump should not be elected now is if he's found to have done something highly illegal.

No matter what happens, the EC is likely done for. They might as well use their last breath to save the Union.

I don't fuckin blame them

You would think that, but it's clear that the Republicans and Democrats are always going to keep it around as it suits their interests. Besides, it's the states that would have to remove it.
They won't save the union by stopping Trump; they'll damage peoples' belief in democracy (even if the EC is anti-democratic in of itself) which will endanger the Union.
I am as terrified of Trump as you are. But what we need right now is to NOT give him more ammunition and get people rioting in the streets. It is now the time to gather, gain strength, and prepare for 2018 and 2020.

Either we fight them right here, right now, or they take everything from us. We won't last those two years.
We can't afford to stand by.

Now you're being overly dramatic. While Trump's presidency will be terrible and I do agree that the Democrats have to oppose his awful policies and awful measures, the EC not electing Trump will only cause violence and chaos. Blood WILL be spilled if that happens and that'll make things even harder.
Again, we can't give him ammunition that the election was "rigged". Even though it obviously isn't, I'd rather not have Trump's hardcore supporters go apeshit and watch people die and lead to something worse.

So instead of purging the sickness from our nation, we let it take total control of us?
The fuck kind of solution is that?!

Not saying I want to see violence, but blood might be the lesser price to pay compared with what's at stake otherwise. There comes a point where you either double down on your convictions or fade silently into the night, and we're sort of at that point.
Too bad the US doesn't have any emergency clause designed to let the country repair its political system and have another election.
So instead of purging the sickness from our nation, we let it take total control of us?

What do you mean by purging? That's extremely radical language.
You can't treat this sickness by essentially ramming the medicine down the nation's throat. Again, do you not realise that a) the EC has literally never done that and so is unexpected and b) if it does happen the nation's government will be in chaos? Whoever the president would be in that sort of situation would NOT have any time to assemble their government. There would be chaos, and that would lead to something worse and make the nation even more bitterly divided.
Do you really think anything positive will come out of that?
I know why you're upset. I'm still a little bit upset about it and am worried for the future of you guys. But if there is anything I've learnt this year is that something like that would only fuck up things harder.
You guys have two years to cripple his administration and then take the presidency back. He'll fuck up hard, and as long as the DNC go the way of Bernie, they'll be organised and competent and ready to strike him down. I guarantee you that things after that will become a hell of a lot better.
The last thing America and Americans need is a bloody revolution.
