It's fuck you. Not, I'm sorry for my spelling. Please forgive me. :smug:
you can't just write your own software or have open source access to things.
lol http://developer.apple.com/products/mac/program/ [editline]07:14AM[/editline] Hey let's say these bad things about Macs I've never used one/know what they can do but they must suck because daddy only buys PCs
Personally I hate mac's due to the stupid mac VS PC commercials. All they are are: "ZOMG WINDOW R GET VIRUS" "WINDOWS R TRY TO COPY MAC" "COMPLETELY IRRELEVANT STATEMENT GOES HERE"
But Windows R get viruz
But Windows R get viruz
No it doesn't. It's not windows who gets viruses, it's the idiots who use it.
I'd have to say that for complete newbies, OSX / Mac definitely helps with simple tasks.
+10
Has it never occurred to you that Windows can get viruses?
Watch the commercial. It basicly says "PC'S GET MANY VIRUSES WHILE MAC'S CANNOT GET VIRUSES AT ALL LOLOLOL"
Linux sucks and I'm sick of giving it more chances. My brother understands pretty much everything about Unix and still gets kernel panics. :v:
Guess what, nobody wants you to. Also, I've only experienced one or two kernel panics in my entire life (and one of them was on Mac OS X) and I use Linux pretty much.
True, but those MAC versus PC commercial are completely retarded, they think MAC is something more advance than personal computers when mac is a PC itself. Also, the bullshit on how Mac is virus free and is never crash is complete bullshit. The reason why PC seems to crash more often, is because users are play around with more advanced applications than what MAC users generally do. My dads girlfriend loves macs like a religion, we get into arguments about it all the time, she doesnt know anything about computers and blindly defends apple.
beh.
Bought a mac last year, Chuffed to bits with it, use it for Photoshopping, Logo Design, it's excellent music recording capabilites
Mac can get virus too right ? RIGHT ?
It got it's first virus.
What was it called? Addiction ?
Macs can pick up viruses just as easy, if only people would make viruses for them. A lot don't bother because it doesn't have the potential to affect a large population of computer users.

Windows get more viruses anyhow. But with macs, booyah, gone. [editline]12:18AM[/editline]
It's actually not that easy. MAC's os files are locked.
If there's a password on them.....?
It's true. I've got a PC, two junkie PCS, and my MacBook. I love my MacBook, but I like windows more and I need it to do gaming.
Same here.
To get a virus on Windows, you either have to be a complete idiot, abuse/intentionally infect it, or disable and ignore all AV/firewalls.
Macs suck and this website wins.
People, MAC is some kind of makeup store or something, Mac is a computer
People, MAC is some kind of makeup store or something, Mac is a computer
MAC is actually an address for your hardware. (See below)
People, MAC is some kind of makeup store or something, Mac is a computer
No, it's Media Access Control address
My old as dirt PC broke so now I'm stuck with my minimac. only thing to do with it is photoshop, and WoW but that got boring a looooong time ago.
Theres always porn......... :downs::fh:
People in new media seem to love macs. Everyone I know in the program has one.

Two reasons I wouldn't buy a Mac: 1. Apple tax 2. I'd need to run Boot Camp and buy Windows anyhow if I wanted to play decent games But I've heard it's not a bad OS, for the average user. Although, the average user doesn't really have any business buying an MacBook Air, anyhow. [editline]12:08PM[/editline]
This is so ignorant it almost hurts. There are countless viruses that can bypass most security programs.
More like worms. You can log onto, say, Google.com and unless they've been cracked you'll never get a virus from visiting harmless pages. [editline]12:09PM[/editline] It has to do with how data transfer over the internet works; a site can't send a virus to your modem unless it knows your IP address, which it usually learns when you log onto the site and request packets.
