and a good oven steak just takes 15 minutes
Not even quite that long if you're like me and my mom, we prefer our steaks still slightly bloody.
[editline]29th April 2013[/editline]
oh man, you should try cutting tiny slits into the steaks and then shaving garlic paper thin and shoving it down into the slits. The garlic melts right into the meat and is so delicious! That's if you like garlic anyways.

You mean to tell me you don't eat medium well?
I bet you don't use utensils either you savage!
Seriously though not everyone has the time or money to go out and get meat/veg/whatever for their burgers. I'm not gonna fuck about baking hash browns in the am when I've got shit to do, just cause you don't think we're actually that busy doesn't mean we aren't.
[editline]29th April 2013[/editline]
Also what the hell, you don't toast your burger's buns? You're not living, friend
I don't think I'd be taking them up on that. The last time I had breakfast at McDonald's while on the road the food was damn near inedible. I don't think I've tasted anything that could be so closely compared to chewing on rubber unless you were actually chewing on rubber.
You REALLY don't know how to cook. Anybody with true experience in the kitchen knows to do all that while it's cooking. Besides, I don't think i've ever quite heard of someone making a sauce for burgers at home or toasting the buns. The sauce is called ketchup, mayonnaise and mustard... also you don't cut the lettuce you simply rip off what you need for each burger or a bunch at a time for everyone. Besides slicing a tomato and onion given that you have proper cutting utensils takes like 15 seconds each to cut a whole tomato and onion in slices.

Unless you also don't know how to use a knife properly in which case which is what I would expect is that you would cut yourself to the bone with 1 of my kitchen knives.
The point is to emulate a McDonalds hamburger at home. Make a sauce and toast the bun, and hand it to me through your kitchen window 30 seconds after I order it

I think the point is that he wants a McDonalds hamburger. He doesn't want a homemade one because he likes the McDonalds one.

Or rather, a burger where there's been spent as much effort as on a McD burger.
Anyone can whip up a quick burger, but it'll be lackluster.
McD's are pre-processed so it's limited what actually happens at the restaurants

uhm you could easily do that in 2 minutes max if you had the same nasty shit mcdonalds uses, prepackaged, preservative filled, yeah it keeps real well but I doubt most people want to see what their food looked like before it was cooked at maccas. Make a sauce? Lmao you mean tear open a package and smear it on. Again, easily done the same at home, just buy yourself some nasty big mac sauce packages.
p.s since when did they toast buns thats some subway shit man
I fucking love egg mcmuffins, only mcd's food I go out of my way for really

Are all people who like to cook this tedious?
What the hell McDonalds! This is an outrage. If they do this 24-7 , then breakfast will not be fun to eat anymore.

Those burgers are not worth it at all. Cost between 80-90 SEK (~$13). Bought one where they had like three types of cheese on it or something. I got three semi warm pieces of cheese on a burger. Lovely.
I feel McDonalds is kinda terrible and for people who have no time or money.
Are all people who like to cook this tedious?
I suppose not but I started cooking when I was like 10 because my step mom was a bitch and would take her daughter and my sisters out to eat while dad was at work and leave me there to fend for myself. I started cooking for my mom and myself and sometimes my sisters if they were there when I was like 15 and im 21 at the moment so I guess i've just had a lot more experience than most people my age and have learned all the proper ways to cook.

Or it's convinient to some? Like I went bowling yesterday with 5 other friends, and the only nearest food-place was McDonalds, just because we went McDonalds, that doesn't mean we don't have time, or money..
McGriddles forever! I feel my arteries clogging already! I fucking love those things. Would be amazing to get one at 11:00PM.

On top of that, Thousand Island dressing tastes pretty much identical to Big Mac sauce. So I guess if that's your style, you could buy that at home. Or just make it yourself since its piss easy to make.

As best as I can figure out, Big Mac sauce is Thousand Island Dressing, Ketchup, and some spices. Or something like that, anyway.

I actually think they may put a little miracle whip in it to, to give it that slight sweet taste.

Hey, I was close! Also, it's kind of cool that McDonald's does cooking instruction videos. Kudos for that, and thanks for posting the video.

In what world do you live in where fast food restaurants give you food in thirty seconds? It usually takes any restaurant I go to about 5-10 minutes, depending on the crowd. (Granted, 10 minutes is probably faster than the time it would take me to make my own hamburger.)
