Tetra.... You're an idiot... We attempted to move across slated area which GB/Canada owned, and in hence they returned with a Declaration of War.
I'm personally in two minds about conscription. The training required to serve in the military and the comradery that should develop is something to be valued but the freedom of society is probably just as important as having good citizens. I guess everyone has to go to school and this is just an extension of that. As long as there are conscientious objector and support positions available plus plenty of exemptions for schooling and tradeswork then it probably wouldn't be too bad. Shame there's not really much good evidence for it working though. For every Switzerland there's 20 Singapores.
The only thing about having exemptions for schooling is rich kids and children of politicians can get exempt which defeats the purpose of having the draft in the first place. If you had conscription without those exemptions I guarantee you the U.S. would be getting involved in a lot less wars. Also make college free if you serve and kill two birds with one stone.
Good on the Air Force. It's was quiet a ridiculous rule. Now we need to get the other four branches. [editline]15th October 2010[/editline] Considering they burned down the white house, and burned the orginal declaration of independence during the war of 1812... Yeah. Here's an important rule. Canadians are Space Marines Americans are Imperial Guard Americans can shit out a ton of troops with barley any training cause we can afford the cost of life. Meaning... We suck with infantry. But what we lack in infantry we make up with industrial power, and therefore shitout great vehicles like nothing. Canadians on the other hand don't have same population as America (we out number them x10 [I'm unsure on this] ), so they give their troops extensive training on the concept of, "Not getting shot", but with this they lack huge industrial power. Does that mean they don't have good ideas? Hell no. They make atleast half of the American gun concepts. (M1 Garand/M16 *cough cough* )
That would be the British. Canada wasn't even a country until 1867, even then they weren't independent from the British monarch until 1982, derp. I don't even know what you're rambling about.
Tetra.... You're an idiot...
If there was a draft, maybe politicians would think twice before sending their own kids to war for no reason. Which is why I think conscription is kind of necessary in modern society. But if politicians stopped being jackasses that would work too.
Or you know, we could all just collectively say "fuck the draft". What are the politicians going to do if absolutely no one is on their side? Similarly, I think people should "fuck the military" altogether. I think politicians should be on the battlefield if they vote in favor of a war. Put 'em on the front line. If we didn't have all those suckers, and they started a draft, who is left to enforce it? [editline]16th October 2010[/editline] Is Obama going to talk to me in a stern voice about how I need to kill little brown people for "the good of America"?
I'm not, actually. Just saying (correctly) that they apparently like to spread it around that they're gay.
Fuckin straight people getting all up my shit about being heterosexual. Keep it to yourself for fucks sake, nobody wants to see you kissing in public or making mild sexual gestures towards the opposite sex.
Wonderful, Obama's DOJ decides to try and repeal the movement!! I love that fucking snake in the grass.
It is ignorant bastards like yourself that made that backwards homophobic law. And you.
I don't see what's so ignorant about it, I mean straight people don't join the army to brag about being straight. It's good they're gonna remove the law, you shouldn't be removed because you're gay, but then to me it doesn't make sense why you'd advertise being gay inside the army. What's the point of that? What I'm saying is, why is sexuality such a big deal in the military?

Gay people can't talk about who they love or want to fuck, or they will be discharged, simple.
They don't advertise it. Do you think that guys don't talk about fucking girls in the military? Gay people can't talk about who they love or want to fuck, or they will be discharged, simple.
Oh well that makes more sense, nevermind

I'm not entirely sure but isn't the reasons why open gays are not allowed is the same reason men and women can't sleep or shower in the same room in the army?
Or you know, we could all just collectively say "fuck the draft". What are the politicians going to do if absolutely no one is on their side?
Arrest you? Unless you flee the country.
I was guessing that the Navy would have repealed it first.
So it wasn't justifiable to enter WWII?
WWII wouldn't have ever happened if the Allies were snobby bitches and basically pushed Germany in a corner. They created the spark of furious anger Hitler used to get to power and cause all the death and destruction. Both sides were at fault.
I was guessing that the Navy would have repealed it first.
I have heard some weird stories about gay sailors from one of my friends in the Navy.

Next up: "Furries. Don't ask, don't tell."
Now how am I supposed to dodge the draft?
Next up: "Furries. Don't ask, don't tell."
There is no furry ban in the military
There is no furry ban in the military
There could easily be one if the furry hatingness spreads like the gay-hating disease.
They limited their army power. And that's about it.
They also transferred a lot of german land (full of german towns with german people who spoke german and wanted to stay german) into france and other surrounding countries after ww1.
Arrest you? Unless you flee the country.
If nobody supported the draft, or the military who is going to arrest me? Is Obama going to arrest me himself? Unfortunately, we're not going to have as many people who disagree with the draft as I would like because of all the damn rednecks.
There could easily be one if the furry hatingness spreads like the gay-hating disease.
As a furry myself, that's the dumbest thing I've ever heard.
There is no furry ban in the military
There are no furries in the military at all.
There are no furries in the military at all.
I totally beg to differ... Look up military furries.
Now how am I supposed to dodge the draft?
Give yourself flat feet?
If nobody supported the draft, or the military who is going to arrest me? Is Obama going to arrest me himself? It'd be political suicide.
As a furry myself, that's the dumbest thing I've ever heard.
As a normal human being who doesn't want to fuck animals, this is the dumbest thing I've ever read.
