Oh boy, PETA members are attractive! I better stop eating meat so I can get an attractive girlfriend.
I really wonder if they ever saw a bit of resemblance of Team Plasma in themselves.
PETA would be the Team Plasma of the real world.
They would probably use pokemon to battle as well.

the most ironic part of this is during black and white they released this too, so they're releasing two versions of the same game too
There is a point to be made about Pokemon. The games and the popular anime series sugar-coated it, but the manga and some of the newer shit is rather... frank about the nature of the world. Like showing dead Pokemon that are just tossed after they lose a battle, or members of Team Rocket beating Cubone's mother to death and, from what I've heard, actually showing it. The entire franchise is cock-fighting.

They didn't show it, but they did show Cubone running away crying as Marowak screamed off screen.
-Never mind then-

He's talking about the manga, not the show.

named mine yummy bacon
The games themselves do deal with certain issues...Gold and Silver had one part in particular that dealt with consumption of Pokemon (The Slowpoke tails.) There was a black market for that sort of thing and Team Rocket were the ones doing that stuff.
Then, obviously as people have mentioned numerous times, Pokemon Black and White's Team Plasma were more or less the PETA of the Pokemon universe in that they preached that Pokemon should be free and should not be used for sport and whatnot (despite the fact that their true intentions were to control all Pokemon for themselves.) but the game's Rival actually truly believed that Pokemon should be free. The game's explanation for why the Pokemon don't ever fight back is that they actually like to fight and it's more or less what builds up the "bond" between a trainer and their Pokemon. This is told through the Rival's perspective, as he could speak to Pokemon and would repeat what the Pokemon were saying back to him.
I forgot the videos were fucked up. Jesus Christ

Also, I'd just like to add that if this battle kept going, Charmander would've literally died, because the flame on it's tail is what keeps it alive. Hence the close-up on the tail and why the trainer took it out of battle. The fire was starting to go out because of Charmander's flailing.

They addressed that during their Black and White 2 parody.

That wasn't the only heat source going on there, and it sure as hell wasn't rising from the top

Don't open the chests.. unless you are prepared for lulz
as much as i like nintendo, it is sort of ridiculous to release two versions of the same game with alterations. but they have been doing it from the very start which is why people accept it, even though it is a genius money making strategy that in absolute best case scenario doubles their profit
Im glad out of all things, that this is what PETA spends its budget on.
Bloody Fantastic.
Brilliant.
yeah.
I just like how they "think Nintendo is ridiculous for releasing two versions of the same game" and yet they made ANOTHER parody for pokemon with the same arguments... they're the ones who can't change.

Doesn't really double their profits, since more people buy one or the other. It happens, but not often do people buy both variations.

the idea for two different versions was actually a random one that miyamoto had. he wanted to have different versions with different rosters to foster the trading aspect of the game. at least at first anyway. pretty sure crystal, emerald, all that shit is just pure money.

I never bought 2 versions of the game

i said best case scenario. if they only released one, people would only buy the one. but with two releases, all the huge pokemon fans (there are a LOT) will buy both.

alright? doesn't mean plenty of other people didn't. i knew a shitload of people who owned gold and silver and that's about as up to date on the pokemon games as I am.
The online trading aspect has kinda made the two versions meaningless anyway.
Not necessarily because with the Global Trading System, you only have the ability to trade Pokemon you've encountered. In order to get Pokemon you haven't encountered, you have to trade with friends (online or otherwise) and even then, there's still the whole version exclusives thing going on.
Huh, I am suprised that they didn't parody GTA V, or did they?
PETA is a pimple on the butt of the world's smallest amoeba.

In X and Y they are doing away with that. You can trade any Pokemon now, it doesn't matter if you encountered them or not.
