Religion doesn't need to be eliminated from the Earth, but it does need to be eliminated from politics and government.
Amen. :v:
Ahhahaha, haha, ha. The Invisible hand, reaganomics, 'trickle-down economics.' Are you sure about that statement?
most are extremely intelligent economic / business minds, that's why they're conservatives when it comes down to it conservative ideology is just self interest, they've earned their money through the current system, and believe it should remain as is so they continue to make money why the fuck would they care about other people? trickledown economics is merely a way they make themselves feel better about how many people they step over to get to a higher income range most of the affluent conservatives know economic theory very well
boohoo obama states the truth for once most of us follow the rules that were written in the bible; we don't have to be christians to know and respect what's in the book, though, because it's a good ruleset
I disagree, very few people follow the 200+ laws in leviticus
I'm a republican, but i swear to god, the repubs search for the dumbest people, i mean you cant go out into a crowd and find this many dumbasses
Define 'republican'. Also, why do you have a hammer & sickle in your avatar if you're (supposedly) a conservative?
True. I try not to let the Tea Party bullshit get to me. I respect most conservatives, even if I disagree with them on some fronts.
thats not very nice.
eternal fire-death to reaganomics
I disagree, very few people follow the 200+ laws in leviticus
Mostly because it's a transcribed law code from an ancient Hebrew society and it's difficult, impossible, or downright silly to try to carry them out anymore.
Define 'republican'. Also, why do you have a hammer & sickle in your avatar if you're (supposedly) a conservative?
I believe more in the republican ideals than those of the demo's [editline]09:10PM[/editline]
Mostly because it's a transcribed law code from an ancient Hebrew society and it's difficult, impossible, or downright silly to try to carry them out anymore.
I just said that because he didnt define which rules
most are extremely intelligent economic / business minds, that's why they're conservatives
Well, not necessarily. There are lots of brilliant economists out there. As far as conservative economists and business people it all just goes down to their self-interest like you said. Trickle down economics is a lie however.
boohoo obama states the truth for once most of us follow the rules that were written in the bible; we don't have to be christians to know and respect what's in the book, though, because it's a good ruleset
Because we should definitely stone all sinners. Oh yeah and we can't forget that we can only have slaves if they aren't Semitic. Not to mention countless other rules.
Well, not necessarily. There are lots of brilliant economists out there. Trickle down economics is a lie however.
so is global warming, but you don't complain about that. btw, trickle down econ doesnt work because the people that have the money are smart and invest, whereas the poorer people just go out and buy flat screens and useless shit
I believe more in the republican ideals than those of the demo's [editline]09:10PM[/editline] I just said that because he didnt define which rules
define 'republican ideals' do you take a conservative stance on social and economic related things? or just one?
Good, isn't it supposed to be "Separation of church and state" anyway?
define 'republican ideals' do you take a conservative stance on social and economic related things? or just one?
im anti-public option, anti-immigration, and would prefer a small central government but as far as demo arguments, i go; secular nation(lol), anti-war, and pro-weed:D I just feel the republican stances have a greater value than my demo stances
im anti-public option, anti-immigration, and would prefer a small central government
:| Alright, what's your stance on abortion, drug legalization, and same-sex marriage?
so is global warming, but you don't complain about that. btw, trickle down econ doesnt work because the people that have the money are smart and invest, whereas the poorer people just go out and buy flat screens and useless shit
Yeah, go look. The majority of the rich-as-fuck businessmen are conservatives.
Yeah, go look. The majority of the rich-as-fuck businessmen are conservatives.
but they also work their way up there and deserve to use their money as they see fit, not to have it all taken away and given to the lazy potheads
but they also work their way up there and deserve to use their money as they see fit, not to have it all taken away and given to the lazy potheads
I'm assuming you're against socialism/communism. Is there a reason you have a hammer & sickle in your avatar or are you just being edgy?
anti-immigration
you're not an economist at all are you
I'm assuming you're against socialism/communism. Is there a reason you have a hammer & sickle in your avatar or are you just being edgy?
I also drew one on my bible :downs: communism looks good on paper but it would never work in rl, but i use the logo cus it looks cool
There are US citizens, a lot of them, who think the US IS a Christian nation. The money says "In God We Trust", the schools mention God in the Pledge of Allegiance, and Christmas is THE holiday, need I say more? So, even though he didn't use the word secular, to deny for everyone that fact is going to offend and anger huge chunks of the population. For that he has my appreciation, the more pissed off those people get the happier I am.
but they also work their way up there and deserve to use their money as they see fit, not to have it all taken away and given to the lazy potheads
If they feel that way then they can build their own goddamn roads, fight their own goddamn oil wars, build their own goddamn power grid, fly their private jets off their own goddamn airports, and enjoy watching Microsoft buy them out in a hostile takeover and throw them out on the streets because they couldn't be arsed to pay taxes for an effective regulatory body.
so is global warming, but you don't complain about that. btw, trickle down econ doesnt work because the people that have the money are smart and invest, whereas the poorer people just go out and buy flat screens and useless shit
haha no
you're not an economist at all are you
I know this "Dj0wns" character in real life, and he's a pretty backwards kid.
Texas schools don't have to teach that anymore, because their school board is made up of religious nuts who are poisoning their education system.
