(O)bama Fails to Steer New Energy Policy to Passage, Some Democrats Complain

Msnbc is sorta biased but at least they don't openly lie to support their views.
Wait, so Senators are disagreeing with their party? I'm pretty sure that's not exactly a bad thing.
A company should start building them here. Then that would cut the cost of shipping. One blade on those things takes an extra long flatbed truck with an OVERSIZE LOAD banner, shipping a few dozen of them can't be cheap.
I think the eventual money that's saved with the renewable energy would eventually pay over the costs of shipping.
Besides, even if they do get manufactured here in the US, they'll still need to be shipped across the nation with those oversize loaded trucks.

Would probably save on emissions as well considering that is a major part of the alternative energy push.
Either way, I am more in favor of nuclear power.

Technically, they're disagree with the president, who happens to be in the same party. Not the party itself.

Exactly, and if they were built over here there would be more jobs, as Mr. President said he would do.
where does it say that CNN/MSNBC had just as much bias as Fox

You need to click the links and read the reports.
So what if the actual turbines are from overseas? At least it'll help the energy bills.
Shipping equipment for renewable, alternative energy from a faroff country is going to cost alot of money, and alot of fossil fuels and such, which is kind of counter productive if we want to ween ourselves off of those same fossil fuels

So instead, we'll simply not support building them in any way and just wait for a company in the US to start manufacturing them?
Don't get me wrong, I think it would be wonderful to manufacture them here, but plants to build them don't just "pop up" out of no where. It'll be time, money and resources to construct the plants, let alone run them. And I highly doubt said plants would be built right next to where the turbines will be put, thus shipping will still be majorly used.

skimmed through the 2010 one
the word "bias" wasn't even in it
show me the exact quote where it says that. learn how citations work.

Fair enough. Just reminds me of this one MP here in Canada who got booted for voicing opposition to his (governing) party's position on something that would have totally fucked over his constituents
Your news station is more biased than mine :smug:
Anyway let's get some nuclear up in this joint.

I'm not saying that, I'm just saying it's a bit silly, is all.
Hopefully it'll kickstart competition at-home so that this problem solves itself

That's a bit dickish on the party's part.
Fox is far more biased than MSNBC
For fuck's sake Rachel Maddow is the MSNBC version of Bill O'Reilly.
automerges being broekn all over the place here
Everyone who is saying CNN is biased doesn't watch it at all and is just being silly.
I love how there's two conversations going on in this thread, one with those who are bitching about the source, and the other group who are actually talking on topic.

I'm just saying they should have built nuclear 50 years ago and leave the wind turbines for the folks who want to have no energy bill.
Everyone who is saying CNN is biased doesn't watch it at all and is just being silly.
CNN actually does a fairly good job of not being biased from what I've watched.
No it's not, it's the same. CNN/MSNBC are liberal while Fox is conservative.

For fuck's sake Rachel Maddow is the MSNBC version of Bill O'Reilly.
Yes but where Bill O'Reilly uses ignorance, intimidation, fear mongering, and lies to get his point across she uses facts, well-written script, researched evidence, and doesn't have to rely on some unpopular dickweed of a comedian.
HURR DURR MILLER TIME OK
I'm just saying they should have built nuclear 50 years ago and leave the wind turbines for the folks who want to have no energy bill.
I have nothing against nuclear power, I just feel that all renewable sources of energy should be looked into and innovated, such as solar power, tidal power, and geothermal energy.
I don't see how MSNBC or CNN being biased justifies Fox for being biased or vice versa.
Glaber's avatar, at the time of this post, appears to be a fox.

So does lying mean more bias? Did they change the definition of bias while I was asleep?

rightfully so
if you think a Fox article is credible then you need to have a reality check

So you're saying that Obama DID go with the energy policy and there are NO Democrat Senators complaining?
Woo America then, for not having that? :patriot:

at least canada doesn't have a bunch of Republicans/lolbertarians like Palin, Paul, Hannity, Limbaugh, Beck, etc.
