A lot of places in England has problems with drought, it's illegal to waste that much water on your lawn at certain times of the year.

People wasting water causes droughts, too.
People wasting water causes droughts, too.
Watering flowers does not take that much water.
A lot of areas are also not anywhere near drought levels..
It's 5,778 K here on The Sun
Get over it
I was actually pretty glad to see white skies when I woke up this morning; all that blue sky and sun was making things a bit too unbearable, to the point where undies was the only thing I could keep on without sweating like a pig. I welcome these cool winds, and the only thing that could make it better would be a nice spot of cooling rains, which judging by the dark underbellies of the clouds in my village mightn't be too far off...
meanwhile its 102F here in New England.
lol ur uncomfortably hot
but still high 20's

oh my god burning rain :(
We have an overcast sky and some wind now. I prefer the cold weather anyway but I've never been so thankful for it.
Just waiting for rain/a storm and we'll be all good.
Why anyone can be happy when the temperature is +25 celsius is seriously beyond me. Why would anyone (except farmers and AirCon makers) want a temperature beyond that?
I love my weather in Houston. Typically 25-35C during the summer, sometimes up to 40C. It is what feels like summer to me. I could drive around all day in this, go to the beach, hang out outside. Welcome to acclimation.
I wouldn't call this normal; no rain today.
Is it 102 F indoors?
at my house in georgia, if my dad feels like being a scrooge, it can get around to 90 degrees F if he dosent turn the AC on. plus living near the Atlantic and gulf means lol humidity.
i hate it here :v:
Today was lovely. It was warm, but breezy, and was pretty cloudy so there was no sun blinding me
-broken automerge-
The heat hasn't been so bad really for me, sat inside. The room where my pc is stays really cool for some reason.
My bedroom is another story, when I wake up [sp]at 12pm[/sp] it's felt like I was in a frying pan the last few days.
also why isn't this bannable yet?
because starpluck does it too
but still high 20's

Looks like Monday'll be pretty relentless, and then there will come warm rains Tuesday to Friday.
Good; this parched land needed it's thirst quenched.
luckily my apartment is being fully payed for by my university all year long. a/c is constantly set to 50F. if i leave the blinds open, the sun can heat the room up to about 70F, but it is still comfortable. meanwhile it is mid 90s outside, so i am grateful for my a/c. sucks for you brits without it tho, i work at a desk in a building without a/c, i went through 3 water bottles and a gatorade and i was still dying, and it was only a 6 hour shift.
so back to this..

Even though I don't live in England and understand their not used to this weather, I much prefer 25+ over the current Melbourne weather (4 seasons in one day, rain, cold, rain etc). To us it's a perfect day but we've had to encounter 40C+ in summer. I'm sure we can whinge about rain and cold while Brits are used to it, we whinge about 12C while Brits have encountered worse.
also why isn't this bannable yet?
I'm pretty sure a mod made it bannable in another thread. Can't remember which mod or thread though.

That's not a good temperature for farmers..
I don't think the issue is people bragging about their temperatures so much as you guys aren't the only ones in the middle of a fucking heatwave.
Tbh the heat here wasnt as bad as some people made out- like, the first two or three days were awful but once the fans get set up, and you start to work drinking lots of water into your routine, you kinda just forget its hot untill you have to make small talk with someone.
Holy shit Northern Ireland actually got some rain just a minute ago and it was amazing
should send arizonians to england

It's still 28c down in the south of england, still unbearable.
