As a Denverite, I f'n hate Seattle, but that was an amazing game they played. That punt fake was ballsy as hell.
no it wasn't. their offense didn't bother to show up until 5 minutes left in the fourth. then brandon bostick tried to catch the onside kick instead of blocking like he was supposed to. seahawks didn't win that game the packers lost it. fake field goal was ballsy though
You have three franchises to the north of you. Redskins, Ravens and the Patriots.
...Eagles, Steelers, Jets, Giants
I used to be a Bears fan until this season. At that point I said fuck it and rooted for the Colts (Since I live in Indiana) and Green Bay, which is technically the Bears' "arch-enemy" but that whole rivalry is a joke anyways; I always respected Green Bay and always got respect from their fans, so it was fine and all. Anything would be better than the Patriots.
Kill the apostate
Honestly with the way that game went, it wouldn't have mattered even if someone replaced their ball with a brick.
What a shit super bowl this year. Green Bay should have won. Fuck the Seahawks. And Colts+Patriots both can go fuck themselves.
Greenbay should have lost to Dallas so you can see theres a large gap of opinions here
Duh. Everybody knows they cheat constantly. The officials were awfully friendly to the Pats in the first quarter. Not that it would have kept the Colts from fucking embarrassing themselves.
Doesn't the other team also use the same footballs, though? So really where's the advantage over the other team here
Doesn't the other team also use the same footballs, though? So really where's the advantage over the other team here
Each team uses their own balls
Once a cheater always a cheater.
45-7 isn't because of deflated footballs.
I find it somewhat amusing that the NFL mandates a narrow range of ball pressure and weight without taking into account that these numbers vary (at least slightly) with altitude and weather conditions. Wouldn't these factors be worth considering? Ah what do I know.
NFL has found that 11 of the Patriots footballs used in Sunday’s AFC title game were under-inflated by 2 lbs each, per league sources.

NFL has no comment at this time and Patriots say they will continue to cooperate with the investigation. ssssssshhhhhhhit
Fuckin cheaters.
I want the Colts balls to be checked as well. The gauge could be defective and very inaccurate. You can't just say "11 of 12 Pats balls were deflated" and not check the other team's balls as well. I highly doubt the Patriots would deflate the balls to gain such an insignificant advantage, if an advantage at all. 45-7, take away the passing TDs, you still have 3TDs scored by ground. I also read from an (unofficial) source that the refs did take balls out at halftime and give the Pats a new set of balls to start the third quarter. Therefore, they scored 28 unanswered with the new set of balls. Now the legitimacy of that is questionable because I read that from a Boston article. Bottom line from me is, cheating is obviously wrong but I don't think they actually did this. Seeing as the game started in the 50s and ended up in the lower 30s is also a factor that could have come into play. Couldn't the balls have lost pressure with such a sudden temperature change? I'm no scientist; I'd like someone to validate if that's actually possible. [editline]21st January 2015[/editline] The other thing I find extremely hilarious is the refs "weighing" the balls. You can't actually fucking weigh the balls as in oz or lbs. You're measuring the air pressure in the ball, not the fucking weight of it. Some people..
Hahaha, cheaters gonna cheat.
tom bradys stats that game 1st half: 11-21 for 52%, 95 YD, 1 TD, 1 INT, 60.6 rating 2nd half: 12-14 for 86%, 155 YD, 2 TD, 0 INT, 157.3 rating assuming the refs find out that somethings fucky after the first INT and give the pats properly inflated balls brady performs a lot better in the first half. why would the patriots put their QB at a disadvantage?
Some of the Baltimore Ravens believe kicking balls used in their playoff game at New England were slightly under-inflated, according to league sources. With the Patriots under investigation for possibly under-inflating balls in their playoff win against the Colts, sources said some on Baltimore's sideline believed there may have been irregularities with the kicking balls used in their AFC divisional playoff game at Foxborough, Mass., on Jan. 10. Baltimore's kicking and punting units were not getting their normal depth and distance, and some believed the balls they were using may have been deflated. An NFL spokesman said he had no knowledge of the Ravens filing a complaint.
Source: CBS Sports It just keeps happening.

wow it's almost like having 11 balls underinflated COMPLETELY coincides with the fact that during a subfreezing rainy game, the balls would lose air pressure who would have thought that?
wow it's almost like having 11 balls underinflated COMPLETELY coincides with the fact that during a subfreezing rainy game, the balls would lose air pressure who would have thought that?
Subfreezing? lol the forecast at gametime was in the 50s
Subfreezing? lol the forecast at gametime was in the 50s
It was in the low 30s by the end of the game
wind chill and atmospheric pressure from the rain meant that it was probably colder on the field because rain was freezing once it hit the ground towards the second half
Does anyone even care that there are cameras everywhere during the game in every location. They would have to pull some serious mission impossible shit. also 2 psi barely does shit, probably just weather conditions or just negligence.
the thread over at SA seems convinced (with people actually doing math on the forum lmao) that the Patriots just pumped the balls in a really warm room with consequently warm air and it just fucked all the balls up once they brought them out
Here's a statement from Wilson(the ball company) regarding protocol for the ball from factory to field [t]https://pbs.twimg.com/media/B745_4YIEAESUdK.png[/t]
Well honestly if a 11 psi over a 13 psi ball creates 40 points that's pretty crazy. I'm still leaning on poor inflation protocol instead of intentional cheating but who knows, they ran for most of those points anyways? [editline]21st January 2015[/editline] Oh and btw when the Refs got rid of the supposedly "deflated" footballs at halftime of the Colts game, the Pats outscored the Colts 28-0 in the 2nd half.
