oh please, it's been proven again and again that the type of reactor they are building and the nuclear material they are buying from turkey & russia (and brazil??? i dont remember) could NOT be used to create nuclear weapons.
Yet Iran recently just promoted through their national media service that they can now enrich the uranium on their own, and have also started mining it domestically. http://www.skynews.com.au/politics/article.aspx?id=548308&vId=
Uranium enrichment lies at the heart of Western concerns about Iran's nuclear activities as it can produce fuel for nuclear reactors or in highly extended form the fissile core of an atom bomb.
Do you really not see through their lies about their nuclear motives?
i agree he's not a good man and i sincerely hope the people of iran one day overthrow his jackass and install a secular democratic government.
Didn't they just try a year ago? Ahh yes they did. And we saw what their Government did to their protesters. They may even need further economic and political sanctions.
i think you're just being paranoid.
Maybe. But why would you want to risk it?
Maybe. But why would you want to risk it?
nuclear power would significantly raise the quality of living for all people living in iran. besides, almost everything to do with the plant is being operated by foreigners, so i think that should they decide they're gonna start making bombs the world at large would find out pretty fast.
nuclear power would significantly raise the quality of living for all people living in iran.
This may be so, but so would complying with the UN, which inturn would lift the sanctions.
besides, almost everything to do with the plant is being operated by foreigners,
Operated, no, supplied, partly yes. As I showed you before, their uranium supply was running low, so now they've started mining it domestically, and enriching it, which could prove to be a threat.
so i think that should they decide they're gonna start making bombs the world at large would find out pretty fast.
Not if all their nuclear operations are domestic.
i thought they DID comply with the UN and were going to allow UN inspectors into their facilities?
That's part of it, but there are many other elements to it.
even if they DID develop nuclear weapons i still fail to see the threat
With a regime that produces a huge hatred towards the West, I really don't see how you cannot see a threat in Iran producing nuclear or atomic weapons.
north korea has possessed nuclear weapons for quite some time and i think kim jong il & his regime is a fair bit crazier than ahmadinejads'
Yes, and look at North Korea's economy. Nobody want's to trade with them. Their people are starving and have very limited rights.
Congrats he sold a piece of shit 2000 dollar car. When he stops his militia from murdering his citizens then I'll be impressed. NSFW
I really cant decide what to think of Ahmadinejad... On the one side he is an excellent passionate speaker, a intelligent person and says what our western politicians cant even dream of because of our hypocritical system; on the other hand he treats his own people like shit. Of course he didnt kill that woman or stone those women himself but he is the leader of a country and he should do something against that. I think he is caught in a struggle between western and eastern values and believes. And at the same time this whole situation once again shows our crooked media and government... Make him look bad, he doesnt support our views, try to destabilize his country, put sanctions on his country just because he is doing what he wants, just what other bigger countries have been doing for years.

Don't think so Tim. [editline]2nd January 2011[/editline] He's just a bad man completely. There's not much good about him at all. [editline]2nd January 2011[/editline] Hitler was a smart and well spoken person, but you can't say much good about him.
So the recent Iranian uprising against the Ahmadinejad Presidency was due to Western Media? Don't think so Tim.
yeah, lol. it's the media's fault. or it's american imperialism. yes, that's right - american imperialism raped female opposition supporters with broken bottles.
That's Nice, I guess.
So the recent Iranian uprising against the Ahmadinejad Presidency was due to Western Media? Don't think so Tim.
Nope, but the western media is portraying him as pure evil and deliberatly spreads wrong translations. Of course america could also be involved in the uprising, I dont exlude any option, Agent Provocateurs on demonstrations are proven in America and Germany. But I doubt that america has anything to do with those riots. Ahmadinejad is focused too much on foreign policies and totally forgets his own people
lol
Nope, but the western media is portraying him as pure evil and deliberatly spreads wrong translations.
Even if this is true, which I know it has been on a couple of occasions, a lot of the time the words are changed, but the meaning is still the same. It doesn't change the translation.
Of course america could also be involved in the uprising, I dont exlude any option, Agent Provocateurs on demonstrations are proven in America and Germany. But I doubt that america has anything to do with those riots.
In this case, I really doubt any western involvement in the uprising. I don't think many of their country believed that Ahmadinejad held the Presidency legitimately. Even if it was legitimate, and the uprising unjust, the force used by Government forces was way over excessive.
Ahmadinejad is focused too much on foreign policies and totally forgets his own people
Not a good man.
