cite the last example that you were put down for being a male. some obscure tumblr blog that no one cares about doesn't count
I thought personal anecdotes are worth shit. But I guess for something that you don't like to be real I must have a personal anecdote. Saying that it's impossible for a woman who hates all men to exist is pretty dumb.
and the fedora comes out from the cupboard
I don't even understand whay you're saying at this point.
cite the last example that you were put down for being a male. some obscure tumblr blog that no one cares about doesn't count
Cite the last example that you were put down for being a woman (not necessarily you, I don't know your gender, any women on here feel free to pitch in).
So you're just throwing Extremists around like a buzzword. Great argument bud.
Clearly you're the one with the superior arguments, right?
and then the fedora comes out from the cupboard

So you're just throwing Extremists around like a buzzword. Great argument bud.
Said the "lol fedora" guy.
I thought personal anecdotes are worth shit. But I guess for something that you don't like to be real I must have a personal anecdote.
ok then cite a study showing that men are discriminated against

Saying that it's impossible for a woman who hates all men to exist is pretty dumb. I don't even understand whay you're saying at this point.
because it's insignificant
Said the "lol fedora" guy.
I think fedora is a brilliant substantive noun in these threads
So you're just throwing Extremists around like a buzzword. Great argument bud.
Do you know what an extremist is. Because that's all I was talking about. [editline]12th July 2013[/editline]
I think fedora is a brilliant substantive noun in these threads
Well, you think a lot of things.
ok then cite a study showing that men are discriminated against
Oh it's the "It's not prejudice and hatred by Y towards X because Y is in minority" thing. Just like black people can't be racist against white people.
you're trying to get at some oddball niche of people. like i said, stop riding on a persecution complex because of said group
So is everyone who's throwing around the phrase "rape apologist" The actual amount of people that think the things you're accusing people of is insignificant.
Do you know what an extremist is. Because that's all I was talking about.
Can you give me an example of a extremist feminazi please like actually substantiate it.
Oh it's the "It's not prejudice and hatred by Y towards X because Y is in minority" thing. Just like black people can't be racist against white people.
you were complaining about citing an anecdote, so i offered an alternative. what i said has absolutely nothing to do with what

No.
it probably does, but it's not an actual problem for men at large. [editline]12th July 2013[/editline] this is about racism but it explains it pretty well.
you were complaining about citing an anecdote, so i offered an alternative. what i said has absolutely nothing to do with what
I don't understand what you're trying to say.
yo educate yourself, you're painfully ignorant. sociological definition of racism isn't just racial prejudice (and that's really the best definition as it explains problems that are unique to oppressed minorities)
This is the definition I'm finding everywhere. But I guess using it is painfully ignorant.
rac·ism (rszm)n.1. The belief that race accounts for differences in human character or ability and that a particular race is superior to others. 2. Discrimination or prejudice based on race.
So what's racism then?
in the article you posted in your "defence": "Still, inequalities persist. "Nine of the ten lowest-paying jobs (e.g.: child-care worker, library assistant) were disproportionately female." "Nine of the ten highest-paying jobs (e.g.: software architect, psychiatrist) were majority male." "Nurse anesthetist was the best-paid position held mostly by women; but an estimated 69 percent of better-paid anesthesiologists were male."
There have been plenty of studies that showed women being more likely to take time off work in order to care for children, being less likely to work more hours, and being less forceful in asking for raises. Again, you can't just post data and assume some conclusion without showing a causal link.
So as the average woman gained more skills suited to the workplace they made more money as a group? Makes sense. Data, on it's own, is meaningless to a discussion.
no? that graph shows that women are always paid a fraction of what men are, and are worse paid proportionally the older they get
That isn't substantiating anything.
It is a picture of a feminazi which I'm pretty sure you all know of. If you don't, here's a link. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CvByTdMXlPM
no? that graph shows that women are always paid a fraction of what men are, and are worse paid proportionally the older they get
Now you just need to show a causal link to them being women and not skill level/all the other things I mentioned in my last post.
in the article you posted in your "defence": "Still, inequalities persist. "Nurse anesthetist was the best-paid position held mostly by women; but an estimated 69 percent of better-paid anesthesiologists were male."
Men are statistically more ambitious and therefore more likely to get a higher paying job. It's all in the article. Yes, women on average do get payed less. But it's not because the employers are paying them less, it's because they're less ambitions and less likely to ask for raises. "So, women aren't starting off behind their male counterparts, so much as they're choosing different jobs and losing ground later in their careers." [editline]12th July 2013[/editline]
I'm asking you to substantiate your argument. Do you even know what that means.
You said provide an example.
