Ah I need more information :/
It's going to be dumbed down as fuck.
How the fuck.
Oh what else are they going to throw at new york. Why is it we're almost always the ones to get fucked over by this kind of stuff?
Haha so this time the darts landed on: Crysis, New York, Aliens. Get to work boys, we need this by the end of the day!
Fuck. Fighting aliens was fun, but regular old battles was better. It better not be a pure alien shooter, or else is won't be as fun.
It's going to be dumbed down as fuck.
Go look up how CryEngine 3 works with multiplatform development, and then say that with complete confidence.
[PROTOTYPE] with a nanosuit?
So can people actually run it this time? Crytek's games aren't worth it if you can't run it on absolute highest settings with 60fps.
So maybe Crytek will make NYC as freeform as the jungle by removing the locked door syndrome? I mean with a nanosuit you can basically kick down any door and climb any building.
Oh my god, destructible environments in my hometown? In Manhattan?! Alright, my faith in this game is renewed.
'Bout damn time I get to super jump from the top of the Empire State Building.
Big deal. You can do that in every other game set in New York or Liberty City, only like in half of those games (i.e. the ones where you aren't Alex Mercer or Spiderman), you'll just die. New York is horribly overused anyway. Doesn't America have any other interesting cities for aliens to attack?

It better have a lot of what I'm seeing at 1:00 in this CE3 trailer: http://www.gametrailers.com/video/beauty-speed-cryengine-3/57638 Hopefully on a large scale, too. Maybe even like Bad Company 2.

Crysis 2 is the sequel to the successful game "Crysis" which while popular, was usually referred to as a "Tech Demo".
Who knows? Maybe with the new nanosuit you would be able to run up buildings for all we know.
Don't make it PROTOTYPE. I mean, I really liked prototype, but Crysis can and should do it's own thing.
ah wait destroy all humans did that nm!!!!
I think I prefer the jungle, though.
Yeah, shooting trees was so epic at first, just watching your CPU suffer from the epic physics. :allears:

We don't have really any other iconic cities with the same large building type feel. There are some that are populated cities, but not to the high building style which New York has.
Wow, a Crytek game that DOESN'T take place in the Jungle.
Concrete jungle :smug:
I hope it's some sort of futuristic NYC that has collapsed and is now a flourishing jungle (with skyscrapers) :smug:
Not a fan of the first one, but this sounds promising.
Maybe you get to go bowling with your cousin. :smug:
Fuck yes, i don't care much about the game but the editor.... *cum*
Fuck yeah! I'm so tired of the jungle games... [editline]10:44AM[/editline] <-- dat game
Can't wait to experience all the beautiful foliage of New York City [editline]02:50AM[/editline] That piece of garbage floating in the wind is so beautiful
surprise, surprise. dont expect more than 10 npcs on the screen at once though. the game will be shit, but the editor is going to rock :smug: [editline]12:22PM[/editline] I also predict a walk-on-walls feature of the nanosuit2
Oh god, Crysis in an urban environment, that sounds fucking awesome.
