Here is the actual blog post.
For those who can't actually read, they're still developing Flash and Flash AIR but they're no longer trying to get Flash player on Mobile Browsers.
Those are two completely things.
Also Smurfy, Still looking for the article, but I have to focus some class work, I'll PM you the article.
Oh my fuuckkkk when well I go a single day without hearing Steve Jobs metioned again
Well for starters if people stopped making pointless threads about him... oh wait that would mean people have less opportunities to say how much they hate him.
Back on subject Adobe has this under control and I imagine they have been planning to drop flash for a while now. They already have a HTML5 editor in testing that will hopefully be released in full soon but for now you can download the preview build for free. I really don't see how this could be a bad thing other then its yet another adobe product you need to learn.
Steve Jobs won. I am glad he did, because it's only for the better.
Doesn't flash cs5 have a flash to html5 converter or something like that?

I can't use Flash though.

Flash was nice when it was still being used to mainly build website elements, not entire web pages and applications.

I'm curious what Google's response will be.
Flash is/was a pretty big reason to choose Android over iPhone in my opinion.
The problem is that he was using this as an excuse for not supporting Flash, thus locking in the market. Why do you think iPhone apps are mostly paid, not free like Android? Because Apple can and wants to money.
Couldn't iOS developers just offer their apps for free...?

Not allowed by Apple, since they want dosh for each app no matter what.
I think it's about time we start moving to HTML5, but this seems a bit too sudden
