As a child, I collected maybe ~500 Hot Wheels cars. I remember having this suitcase which was created specifically to carry like, a bajillion fucking cars.
Also, Shark Park was fucking BOSS

Same here. I'm going to keep those for my whole life.
My parents would get mad because I always wanted Hot Wheels. :v:

a week ago i was in a car museum in hollywood, and it had a section entirely about hot wheels. it's weird as fuck to think that 4 days ago i was contemplating at his creations, while he was on his last days, somewhere else in the world.
rest in peace.
I didn't have a childhood. :smith:
This is very sad to hear. I grew up with Hot Wheels; I think everyone did. Rest in Peace Elliot Handler.
Aside from the toys, I also remember the Playstation 1 game and how awesome it was.

Thanks for giving me one of the many pieces of my childhood, Elliot. :(
I used to have almost all of the hotwheels city sets.
I still remember playing for hours on those city mats with my hot wheels.

I used to collect Hot Wheels. I have around 8 storage containers full of them, still in the packaging. Whenever I was in town with my parents, we would always check the cars at stores against our list and get what we needed. Definitely a big part of my childhood.
