Why the fuck would you care about the easy-to-hit-size, when you have a fucking radar/sonar that can detect at 3 THOUSAND nautical miles and have an engine that's more silent then A BABY DOLPHIN. This machine gentlemen, is a super stealth, super hearing, super hard hitting FAT ASS. Just like the aircraft carriers. Any country who has this would be all :smug:
All that technology and it can only dive in excess of 500ft? I was expecting 5 miles!
It can probably go deeper but the military doesn't want anyone to know exactly how deep it can go.
It's too bad Canada has no subs even though we are the second largest country by land mass and are surrounded by oceans.
annd it's going to crash into an iceberg.
These will be really useful in the middle east...:downs:
You do know that a Tomahawk missile has an operational range of 2,500km, right? Park a nuclear sub in any of the waters in the Arabian neighborhood and you can hit pretty much anything you want.
I think they are talking about hand egg where a bunch of closeted pansies who cry at the drop of a hat, and barely use their feet, which they call football?
Don't talk about closeted pansies where in soccer, near every player fakes injury after being tapped on the shoulder.
Now make a civillian version for cruises
Now make a civillian version for cruises
If i was rich i would go on one
You guys are all shitting yourselves over a 300 ft submarine. If you want something truly impressive, check out the Typhoon and its replacement, the Borei. You start to wonder if Russian sailors are trying to compensate for something.

Thought it said
torpedoes for attacking fish
They should make the sub all women. Geddit. Making subs and women.
What is a football pitch. Are we talking about foot fairy soccer, which they call football?
Ambush!? Why didn't they name it HMS Belatucadrus? It'd be much more fitting.
It's too bad Canada has no subs even though we are the second largest country by land mass and are surrounded by oceans.
Mulroney's government was going to buy a whole class of nuclear attack subs as part of the 1987 Defence White Paper, but when the end of the Cold War and Chrétien came, budgets were slashed and we had to make do with some British diesel electric (though quite new) hand-me-downs. Anyways, don't get too excited by the Royal Navy's and BAE Systems Submarine Solutions' product hype.
I really want to see a picture. Of everything relating to it. Preferably the engine, and the largest room.(probably the brig((?)) ) I'd die happy after naming something this amazing.
If I'm not mistaken, aren't the Virginia-class submarines quite abit bigger then this? I don't mean to start a whole UK-US debate thing, I'm just curious as to why people are acting like this thing is massive. Edit: Virginia-class Submarine Length: 115 m Beam: 10 m 7,900 tonnes Astute-class submarine Length: 97 m Beam: 11 m 7,400 tonnes
Generic penis joke
Subs have the best food in all the armed forces in the US, not sure about UK they bake cookies and other stuff. It is so the crew doesn't go crazy.
Strap rockets to it and build in a machine that recycles water from piss instead of sea water and an oxygen generator and send it into space!
Don't forget the cup holders.

No point in a UK-US debate anyway, because Motherland Russia owns both by far: Typhoon-class submarine: Length 175 m Beam 23 m 24,500 tonnes Problem, capitalists? :smug: (The Ohio-class submarines would be a better comparison, being close in size to the Typhoon)
