You know Someone has a theory out there that this is a massive deception operation by Trump to push out the leakers, That he's going to come out of this fine. I'd kinda want this to be true, Just so we could stop attacking each other's throats. But I also agree sometimes Trump needs to keep his mouth shut. I do wan't Trump to be a good president, but his mouth (and twitter) may be hindering that.
Trump will go down in history as the worst president of all time, unless somebody else manages to turn America into a de facto dictatorship. He had his chance, and I was willing to give him one myself to see if he'd do a decent job after his election. That's now gone out the window thanks to his actions and his childish behavior.
Rosenstein is the better 3d chess player.
Not even that. He said he made his mind up before Rosenstein even told him to do anything.
I'm sure he made his mind up before Rosenstein told him to do anything because at the time it seemed like a great idea, but now that he's catching all sorts of flak for it it has to be Rosenstein's fault, because it was a terrible idea, and Trump can't possibly have a terrible idea.
Trump's personal attorney just lawyered up. Lordy.
if trump just fires every government & security official, there won't be anyone left to investigate him! case closed, trumps wins again liberals!
What do you mean I can't fire Congress!!!!????

What is positive about baiting people into whistleblowing what they perceive to be a massive conspiracy and threat to national security, only to expel those most virtuous and dedicated members of government as punishment for them having morals?

Obama was Hardly a saint though. I wish it was true not because of the leakers, but because People Pushing at each others throats
Even if they were, if they're leaking things that indicate wrong doing on behalf of the administration, they're entirely justified.
And then they are saying they are selectively leaking and making shit up.

Trump allies/supporters: "He didn't do it. He didn't do it." Trump: "I did it" Trump allies/supporters: "So what if he did it, Hillary's emails" rinse and repeat ad nauseam
I have to wonder if this is related to the weird memo that rosenstein sent out
Trump allies/supporters: "He didn't do it. He didn't do it." Trump: "I did it" Trump allies/supporters: [del]"So what if he did it, Hillary's emails"[/del] "Doesn't matter, it was cool anyway." rinse and repeat ad nauseam
fixed
is there ever going to be a time where you just accept that reality isn't favouring your candidate
"Where are they getting this 'impeachment' thing from? Trump didn't get impeached. There's nothing in there that says he's impeached." Trump supporter, upon reading the article about Trump being successfully impeached and nothing else
Even if they were, if they're leaking things that indicate wrong doing on behalf of the administration, they're entirely justified.
It's almost as if they set up a social experiment to see if anyone would rat someone out for a crime, only to arrest them for snitching. It makes no moral sense what so ever.

It is a bit absurd, now that he mentions it.
It is a bit absurd, now that he mentions it.
No. You have to be fucking trolling at this point pal. Trump himself, in his own god damn words said that he made the decision to fire Comey on his own without Rosenstein. Him now turning around and blaming Rosenstein for that is a pure fabrication. And you are the type of person to buy into a total and utter fabrication as it would turn out.
And then they are saying they are selectively leaking and making shit up.
Making shit up is one thing, selectively leaking because they disagree with certain policies seems fine to me.

The guy was under no investigation and the Russian farce was starting to sputter out from lack of evidence -- then he makes that fatal tweet about "the tapes." Immediately there's Congressional subpoenas on his ass hard, hearings televised on the national news, and now he's even got Mueller sniffing him up like no other. I think without Twitter, the President would almost assuredly have made it through this whole debacle relatively unscathed. Now this whole obstruction of justice fiasco is throwing his messages off and presenting a real threat of impeachment. [editline]16th June 2017[/editline] Offtopic; that's a righteous Dave French article. The guy's solidly in the top echelon of writers on NR and always has a great position to argue.

It does take a magnificent moron to muck that up and somehow you people still can't drop your support for the fucking guy. He acts outwardly incompotent. Trump isn't the end of America. But he's a god damn good warning sign that the next guy will be so fucking devious, so skilled at the partisan language that if Trump was capable of, would allow him to dance around investigations and the like. Now there's no filibuster power left, there's a lot of things that have changed, and you cheer now, but we'll see where it goes now that your team opened up the gates to one party rules.

The Russia investigation has been going on for like a year and was, according to Trump, the entire reason for the Comey incident. I don't know where you're getting the idea that the Russia thing was sputtering out, let alone a farce lol
