Pizza Hut UK gets huge makeover - now selling cocktails

Fast food places really do need to ramp up their variety. Having specialty menus every once in a while is really nice of them, but if they'd all expand their offerings to this level it'd justify going more often to them, at least on a variety basis.
In fucking mason jars none-the-less. The only proper way to drink any sort of alcoholic beverage.
want some more 'merica with your america?
I've noticed having drinks in mason jars are the hip new thing among hipsters, vegans, and the organic crowd.
I was thinking that too, but it would probably be awkward and costly to have the delivery folks mix the cocktails outside the door or in your apartment.
Also, over here in the UK we don't normally "tip", since people's jobs usually pay well enough without the poor sods having to sing for their supper.
except that's not true at all
Fuck Pizza Hut
Get my pizza stuff from a local place, that shit got me through college. Ordered so much from there that the owner usually comes and delivers my Pizza with free stuff.
except that's not true at all
it's only half true. tips arent anything like they are in the US both in quantity and how often people tip.
Pizza hut is objectively awful via the choices of food they use to make their pizzas, and the "international" rebranding really hasn't helped.
We have a similar campaign here in the states, and the main problem is while they fancied everything up, they're still using fucking awful extremely cheap ingredients.
Their prices are fucking ridiculous when you sit in and dine, for pizza nonetheless.

i find it absolutely fucking delicious
looks tacky
Please. You'll never out Cracker Barrel the Cracker Barrel, Pizza Hut
they should spend 60 million on not making their pizzas taste like shit.
Do they not understand that mason jars are, what you drink the shine out of not a fucking cocktail with pizza.

A man and a woman are staring at a Surface Pro 3 (or some shitty knockoff of it).
[sp]Hey what's that? Is it a kickstand?[/sp]
Just seems all too gimmicky and as someone who doesn't like paying restaurant prices for drinks it's not even an improvement in the first place. Going to continue sticking to contributing to pre-drink sessions and drinking several glasses of water before visiting restaurants because fuck those prices.
If I wanted a drink and shit food I'dd go to a pub anyway :v:
The only thing they need to change now are their prices. I went there with most of my family once and in total it was 100 GBP. WHAT THE FUCK, WHO PAYS THAT MUCH FOR PIZZA.

From my experience working as waiting staff, people tip if they actually think the service was good and/or the food was above their expectations. Personally I go with the 10% rule, but I guess that's just my semi-Americanisation.

Wow dad! The ipad really turned mom and johnny into a pizza!
I know right, two birds with one stone, thanks shaitan!

In the US I can get a personal pan pizza (~8 inch diameter), breadsticks and a drink for about $5. Nobody besides the local Chinese takeout place can best Pizza Hut's food/price ratio.

European Pizza Hut is significantly more expensive than the US's. I could get a large pizza for like $10 in New York Pizza Hut, but it's at least double that in Sweden (but don't know how UK's is, Sweden has like less than 10 Pizza Huts).
I think the European places try to paint themselves as some higher-class pizza restaurant, and thus I assume use it as justification for their prices... whereas here you can get a tastier and significantly cheaper pizza from one of the independent pizza places that are everywhere.
Papa John's is superior anyway.

The only constant in the world is that non chain places are always better than chain places :v:
You can change it all you want but it's still going to be a pizza hut. Those fruity cocktails don't change a thing
Reminds me of how burger king added fried chicken to compete with KFC. Who the hell wants fried chiken from burger king
That doesn't at all look like the Pizza Hut I remember when I was a kid.

That new place looks so tacky. Are the pizzas still expensive as shit?

I have a friend that always grabs a couple of wings when we go to BK, they're pretty good.
Pizza Hut are more expensive and worse than Dominos, at least in Australia. Their crusts are too chewy and their sauce is too bland.
Pizza Hut can be bland, but sometimes in a good way. Kinda like how you can shovel normal Goldfish crackers down your throat, but not flavored ones.

They've got a $5 menu like Domino's at least, even if all the pizzas on it are shit unlike Domino's amazing Hot Chili Beef pizza.
this thread has taught me something; international versions of US food chains are all sorts of fucked
