I wish this was in the US so I could just text a friend and be like "Hey wanna go get some cocktails?" "sure where?" "how about pizza hut?"
this thread has taught me something; international versions of US food chains are all sorts of fucked
McDonalds in Sweden is significantly better than US's McDonalds, but I think this is one of the few exceptions. Guess it's because they have to compete with Max Hamburgerrestauranger.
Pizza Hut's pizza is absolute garbage I've literally had Tesco/Asda brand Pizza with way, way more flavour, taste and content, for a fraction of the cost I guess Pepsi instead of Coke is actually a good thing now given that Coke is tasteless shit that goes in one hole and out the other thanks to all the dulling down but I wouldn't ever visit Pizza Hut again just because its a rip off for some extremely mediocre food
The only thing they need to change now are their prices. I went there with most of my family once and in total it was 100 GBP. WHAT THE FUCK, WHO PAYS THAT MUCH FOR PIZZA.
Me and four others ate at Frankie & Benny's for like £95 a few weeks ago. This was for drinks, starters, mains and deserts though. I ordered a Pizza Hut this weekend and it took an hour and twenty minutes to arrive and was utter fucking wank compared to what you get from Domino's. [editline]18th February 2015[/editline]
European Pizza Hut is significantly more expensive than the US's. I could get a large pizza for like $10 in New York Pizza Hut, but it's at least double that in Sweden (but don't know how UK's is, Sweden has like less than 10 Pizza Huts). I think the European places try to paint themselves as some higher-class pizza restaurant, and thus I assume use it as justification for their prices... whereas here you can get a tastier and significantly cheaper pizza from one of the independent pizza places that are everywhere.
I ordered a small pizza with 2 toppings and a can of coke from Pizza hut for about £13. I order the same from Domino's for less than £10.
Dining in for two if you're getting literally just two pizzas and drinks falls to like £30, and that's with the medium pizzas that will leave you starving about an hour afterwards.
i would much rather give my money to a local pizzeria that actually serves good food in a not tacky as shit environment either ways
I've noticed having drinks in mason jars are the hip new thing among hipsters, vegans, and the organic crowd.
I can't drink out of them. Period. My grandfather used a mason jar as his emergency nighttime piss pot and I cringe-choke whenever I see someone use them as regular glasses.
If I'm getting a pizza, I am getting delivery and it's because I'm already too drunk to drive. I mean, it looks like an okay place, but I just don't get the demographic. Old Chicago already has them beat as a pizza and taphouse/bar restaurant.
In fucking mason jars none-the-less. The only proper way to drink any sort of alcoholic beverage.
howdy cleetus, did ya hear about them new glass things invented by them city fellas?
howdy cleetus, did ya hear about them new glass things invented by them city fellas?
yeah mang dat darn moonshine comes in a glass jar like how we keep our ol' dawg, yokel now let's go shoot sum damn immigrants yee haw murica

If these cocktails look as good as the ones shown, and they aren't just like mcdonalds advert ones, then damn they look delicious. also [t]http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2015/02/17/25C14ED300000578-2956719-Diners_in_Pizza_Hut_s_newly_refurbished_restaurant_in_The_Strand-m-14_1424173065389.jpg[/t] "ah mah gad, is laik, totally awesame."
:v:
stuffed crust from pizza hut is a gift from the gods
What the fuck is happening in this picture?
just out of frame is the magician who transformed a pigeon into a windows tablet with their orders already selected they haven't even looked down to see the pizza had already arrived
Obviously you people don't appreciate enough the gift that Pizza Hut's delicious thick crust is. I love and miss Pizza Hut dearly...
Heh, it does have a certain chic to it. Also having a cocktail bar in your pizza place does seem a little unorthodox, but hey I'm game for it, so long as the cocktails aren't stupid expensive. Also, I imagine they won't be able to deliver cocktails. That'd be a little silly, if not damn tricky to pull off without it losing some of its freshness on the way.
I think provided you like it shaken not stirred you'd be fine... :suicide:
Closest I know of something similar to this that is local to me, is one of my favorite pizza joints that serves beer and wine. They don't have bar hours, or any sort of actual bar though.
They could always have some sort of "cocktail dresser" suitcase which has the componets for the cocktails the people want, and they just go there and make them fresh. Would surely make the delivery boy/gals tip.
That would mean either Pizza Hut needs to pay them more to be a rent-a-bartender, or they would require much bigger tips. Both would be good, but Pizza Hut probably isn't aiming to go that upmarket. Never even heard of a "delivery bartender" to begin with. This is certainly interesting, but I still think it just boils down to essentially being a bar with a specialty for pizza. I'll definitely check them out though if they "upgrade" any of the ones in my state. dude that looks like a pretty comfy place
