So uhm making a "dramatic" video and probably putting it somewhere for the bullies to see helps how? And how about not continuing to read the FB comments? I am not a specialist for anti-depression, but I think not deliberately coming in contact with people trying to hurt you is kind of important. I mean she moved to a new city, if she'd just cut off her other ties, she could be done with it, but apparently she keeps drowning herself in comments by those idiotic cunts. Besides the mistakes she seems to have made before, I really can't understand this one, it's not that hard to figure out that a new start requires actually starting new.
The kids at the new school found out about what happen, which meant more bullying and lonelyness. In the internet age, your past doesn't just disappear. Also, the new "city" (suburb) is a 20 min drive from the old one. Hardly very far.
what the hell thats depressing
Its shit like this that acutally scare people away and prevent corporations from making money. I swear, it won't be long till this wild west gets tamed :v:
Nobody ever teaches you how to deal with this kind of bullying. Most of it is the occasional retarded shit you're better off ignoring. But this? Following the girl around even though she isn't even in the same city? Harrassing her for months? Who are these sick fucking kids and why the fuck aren't their parents slapping the shit out of them? I know a bit about how this girl feels though. I had this one guy who would constantly track me down as I moved from place to place and school to school. Would contact my friends and girls I'm dating, lie to them about me, and they would ditch me. His crowning achievement was to hook a girl I was currently dating on cocaine, make her sleep with him, and eventually to lead her away from me. She then told all the guys at the neighbourhood hockey games bullshit, and they just ate it up. They tried to set up a hockey game and get me over there so they could beat my ass. Facebook groups got set up, lies got told, fights broke out, etc... all quite dramatic really. Even after going through it myself though... I still don't understand what would drive someone to hunt someone else down for months (or even years in my case). I only know one thing: if you are a parent or a friend of people going through this, fuck even trying to deal with these insane assholes. Just call the police and start reporting everything that happens. Take screenshots of the harrassment, and build your case. Keep the school updated on what is happening and ask them to do something about it. If they refuse, tell them the police have everything on file and you will sue the kids AND the schoolboard if they don't do something about it. When people do crazy shit like this, you cannot afford to have any mercy. Hit hard and fast, put that shit down before it gets too big to handle. When I got to my new school, this is the policy I followed and it worked so well I wished I had thought of it before. Fuck I didn't even have to fight anybody.
Usually when you have a problem you confess or discuss it with your family/best friend. Maybe the new trend is to make a video as sad as possible so you get hugs from all around the interwebs without it solving your problem in any way? I don't know you tell me.
As much as them videos make me cringe, maybe they feel like it's their only option. If it's internet hugs they want, I'm all for giving them if it can avoid shit like this from happening.
I knew a kid in grade school with that type of mental disorder, always tried to turn those closest to me against me with lies and stories. some weird people out there
I have to throw in my two cents now: Why did she show her boobs in the first place anyway?
Well if you did nothing regretful when you were 12/13 then congratulations, you're a pioneer.
We need his name.
She was so cute. No girl deserves that. No one deserves that. Fucking depressing, man. After watching the video, I sincerely hope I never, ever have to cross paths with whoever did that shit. Fuck internet tough guy bullshit, I'd severely throw every damn kick in his face.
This is like my worst nightmare, getting blackmailed and all.
its a good thing no one in their right mind would take nudies of you
It's also scary how once something is on the internet it stays there forever unless no one cares to save it.
It's this kind of self pity that perpetuates a situation like this. People have to be taught to not give a shit. It's a shame to school system cannot even teach such a basic thing. They seem too get addicted to sadness as all they want is attention.
She could have gone to a different school district. Still sad though.
And how did all this start? Because she posted her tits on the internet. Don't do it girls (apart from porn stars, you're cool). Also fuck these attention-seeking videos. I was bullied, I didn't make a video. And don't tell me that they're not, that's bullshit and you know it. You don't need to tell everyone about it when you're bullied, just the people who can make a difference. And the internet can't, so ala attention-seeking.

The fact that you're basically going, 'Hey I was bullied once' and then telling people to suck it up basically speaks volume of the lack of empathy and basic human decency you have. I would never wish someone to be bullied, bullying sucks because it alienates you and makes you feel like shit. We need to stop this because its now causing massive social upheveal, its like saying 'But trolls will be trolls', yeah but those trolls are now scaring people away. You need to grow up and stop holding the fact that you were 'bullied' as some sort of badge of honor, its not a badge of honor. Stopping it through peaceful methods is a badge of honor, not through letting it happen or fighting it back with violence.
She could have gone to a different school district. Still sad though.
Why does no one read the full article? She did move schools. Twice. And it wouldn've mattered anyways. You could move to a different country, but what's on the internet will still follow you regardless unless you decide to change your name and everything about you like you were in the witness protection program, which, in my eyes is almost suicide because in a sense you're killing your old self to become someone different just to escape what's following you.
We need his name.
Ask /b/

On the second fuck you, I don't wear it as a badge of honour, I simply referred to it because it would make my statement more relevant to the situation. In the last fuck you, if I'm supposedly holding it as a "badge of honour" what the fuck are these people making a video doing? Much worse than what I am, surely. So, overall, fuck you and your bullshit post. My lack of empathy is derived completely from being bullied, not caring about shit goes a long way in such a situation. In terms of stopping it through peaceful methods, you've obviously never been put into such a situation and are just bluntly speaking out your arse.
While this is a very tragic story, what started it was her decision to flash some random guy she met on the internet. It is not entirely her fault, that guy was a complete asshole, but she did cause this with that one decision. Goes to show, just one minor decision, one little thing, an action taking seconds, can ruin your entire life. TL;DR: Don't fucking flash strangers on the internet.

And it sucks that you lost your empathy but because you know you lost it you don't have an excuse for completely ignoring the fact that your statement was completely heartless. YOU blamed the victim.

They dealt with it. It ends once school ends.

I simply stated that it all started from another case of teenage girls posting their tits/naked pictures on the internet, and that is never going to end well. The guy who blackmailed her is a fucking arsehole, and it's happened to a couple of girls I know too. Luckily, they managed to get out of it without it leading to something like this.
Lack of empathy for people who have been bullied is completely justified because it's something that's really easy to deal with.
I wouldn't go as far as that, but I can see where you're coming from. The issue in this I believe is that it was a girl who was being bullied, and I don't mean any of this in a sexist manner, but some girls are much more susceptible to shit being said about them and some tend to get really emotional about such things. For etc. there was this girl at school once who told this guy he was ugly as fuck, he replied "Whatever, you're also ugly and that's why no-one will go out with you". She burst into tears, and he ensued the wrath of her friends, and I remember one in particular said "You can't say that to a girl, it's more important to them!". Shallow and hypocritical I know, but I guess that's just how it works with SOME girls.

But fault isn't binary, what she did is done by hundreds if not thousands of teens daily and is generally harmless in the long run. The dude is at more fault for scheming this whole thing.
calm down everyone he's just thinking binary
Did you even read the thread?
Yes, and I wouldn't count this as bullying at all. This is serious abuse, not bullying.
Yes, and I wouldn't count this as bullying at all. This is serious abuse, not bullying.
Please go on. Tell me what arbitrary detail you think exists that makes this not bullying.
Yes, and I wouldn't count this as bullying at all. This is serious abuse, not bullying.
Bullying and abuse are not far away from each other.
it's something that's really easy to deal with. They dealt with it. It ends once school ends.
That's not something that's easy to deal with. And school doesn't last a few days. It lasts years. And bullying can make it into living hell. When you have several people against you and you are forced to be with them it's not easy to "deal with it"
Does anyone remember a similar video to this with a guy in it, then a day or so later another video was posted where he said it was all a hoax and no one really knew what was going on? I think the song used was Look What You've Done by Jet.
