They've been forecasting a gradual weakening since Thursday, although as late as Friday they were forecasting storm strength until next Wednesday. I guess it weakened faster than they expected.

wow RUDE weeb hipster
I live in Jacksonville, this kind of thing usually passes us by and at worst we get shit weather for 4-5 days. I remember about 4 or so years ago the beaches were getting ready to evacuate for a cat 3, but again it just grazed us. Flooding does suck ass though, but that's Florida. I still keep an emergency kit and some food and cash handy because you never know.
I feel bad for people in the Carolinas, they get fucked up hard routinely.
I live in Jacksonville too, we are located in a pretty good area, usually hurricanes either hit North or South of us and we merely get wind and rain. It's nice to walk outside and watch the feeder bands.
I am actually pretty nervous for this since it will be my first hurricane.

Well you don't have to worry about it anymore
Of course the damn thing fell apart as soon as it shifted to the west.
Well that's a wrap, 2016 will probably consist of a whole lot of nothing too if El Nino continues.

Meh. I've lived in Miami my whole life and they aren't that bad. Especially in the 2010s, the last notable hurricane we had was Isaac in 2012 and it was fine.
Katrina was probably the only time I felt it was real bad. Went a week or so without power and our neighborhood had water flooded up to our knees.
Fuck. I hope it doesn't hit too hard. My buddy lives on the east coast, so he'll take the worse of it.
it looks like god pissed on the sky, it's all yellow
god what an underwhelming tropical annoyance

KEK KEKE KEKEK KEKE
oh lord you sound like those americans that commend how silly it was when britain was hot
this kind of weather is nothing for us floridians. cat 1 isn't worth putting up blinders and it's less than a tropical depression right now
