I wish they would do the production blogs like Peter Jackson.
This is going to be hilariously bad, just watch.
From JJ Abrams? Please, have some faith.
I'm not saying it will bomb, but you won't see me waiting to get in on the midnight release either.

i thought the prequel trilogy was great, phantom menace being my favorite star wars movie and with all the great people that are working on this, i really cant wait :D altho anakin in the 2nd and 3rd was probably a bad decision
Capturing that feel the original movies had is probably going to be very difficult but then again that isn't a very fair thing to expect. At least this time there are people working on it that have proven themselves to be able to make a quality film. Star Wars is in many ways already dead and spat on so I don't really see this ruining anything at all, even if it turns out to be an action-packed schlock film made for mass-appeal.
I'm hoping it's good, but the Star Trek movies weren't fantastic, especially the second one which was mostly scenes from Star Wars II reshot with Spock taking Kirk's position.
you mean Star Trek II
Abrams will probably shit all over Kasdan's ideas in the end... "I'm the director, I KNOW WHAT'S BEST".
Abrams will probably shit all over Kasdan's ideas in the end... "I'm the director, I KNOW WHAT'S BEST".
Abrams is one of the finest directors of our time so I highly doubt he'd ruin his name with something like that.
Abrams will probably shit all over Kasdan's ideas in the end... "I'm the director, I KNOW WHAT'S BEST".
Plus Abrams is one of the biggest Star Wars fans out there. Do you really think he's going to disagree with one of its biggest scribes? I will always think a Republic Commando/Clone Wars (focusing on the clones) will make a brilliant Star Wars movie. Or even be a good war movie in a refreshing environment rather than WWII movie #293
