My point was mainly that they probably wouldn't have much of a face after a shell hits :v: Probably not much of an upper torso either.
You can take a titan's head clean off, but if you don't destroy that particular spot on the neck as well, it grows back pretty quickly. On a different note; I'd love to see Tony Stark build like... a Titankiller Suit or something for this. :v:

On a different note; I'd love to see Tony Stark build like... a Titankiller Suit or something for this. :v:
So what happens when you disintegrate a Titan completely without destroying that spot on the neck, because considering some of the shit that the Marvel Universe has, that's possible and then you have some people in the Marvel Universe that might as well be a fucking god(Galactus) or literally is one(Thor, Odin, Loki). Then as you said you have people like Tony Stark who can build weapons designed to at least make killing Titans easier. There are defiantly a lot of possibilities to consider with this.
I assume a full disintegration would kill a titan, but let's say for whatever reason that spot survived, the titan would regenerate. I doubt for this they're going to use someone like Galactus, considering his presence would be a far more significant problem than a bunch of human-eating giants.
I don't know why attack on titan has created such a big hype. Scenery and action is really well done and beautiful but all the characters dress equal and look similar to me. Plus there is a shitton of things that are unexplained. I tried but I just cannot like it.
shows leave things unexplained to catch your attention and leave you waiting and wanting more [editline]4th November 2014[/editline]
So what happens when you disintegrate a Titan completely without destroying that spot on the neck, because considering some of the shit that the Marvel Universe has, that's possible and then you have some people in the Marvel Universe that might as well be a fucking god(Galactus) or literally is one(Thor, Odin, Loki).
only thing that kills a titan is destroying the neck so shooting them in the face isn't that smart
This always doesnt make much sense, generally a cannonshell to the face has enough power to reach the neck, after all the titans are still humanish in their bone structure making the head mostly empty space, they even have a larger hinge on their jaw
There is just something about this image that just made me crack up. Especially the faces.
That's how the titans look in the original, and it was damn creepy sometimes
plus at least one titan can diamond coat their flesh and weak spot so I can see that being a problem
I assume a full disintegration would kill a titan, but let's say for whatever reason that spot survived, the titan would regenerate. But from what I can understand, the titans don't aren't armored per say right? They just have insane regeneration(Like say wolvie or deadpool? Or is it more powerful). If so, I still stand by my point of a tank shell to the face misting everything down to like the chest area including the magical regenny spot :v:

A human/what's left of a human is in there somewhere, but I haven't read the manga lately so I could be wrong. I know that's how the controlled giants work. So just destroy everything that isn't the human and it will regenerate the giant.[/sp] ^AoT/SnK spoiler
Also titans can die from other things, darkness weakens them, and their general lack of intelligence would make new York a terrible place for them to get around due to narrow streets, plus if you hit them enough you depleat their regeberation powers, that's how they killed the titans that came up to the wall

But the common titans just have regenerative powers.

I'm sure New York would be great for them
I wonder what would happen if they tried to eat deadpool. Stuff that has tried to eat or otherwise absorb him in the past hasn't done too well, due to the whole supercancer and all :v:
Unless they pull some shit outta their asses, I expect this to be pretty one-sided.
Titans eat humans for no other apparent purpose than killing them. They ignore all other animals and any non-human forms of life. It appears to be a mere will to slay, perhaps triggered by a hormonal response of some sort, and almost all Titans act solely based on it.
maybe some heroes won't even be targeted because of their mutated DNA?? Might screw with their hormonal response
Unless they pull some shit outta their asses, I expect this to be pretty one-sided.
They have a literal god, and a dude with a fusion reactor in his chest, yeah I think they'll be fine :v:

They do not follow a strict set of guidelines and have seemed to increase in abilities and attributes as the series goes on. After the supposed breach of Wall Rose, Titans were seen moving in the dead of night when they should be inactive, traits they normally do not express. [editline]4th November 2014[/editline] I personally think it will be an okay fight, most people who didn't watch the series assume Titans are just large humans. Here's their abilities from a wiki even though it's obvious marvel will win
Their extremely high level of activity show the need for a massive intake of energy to fuel them but they never need to eat at all. Titans are very light - a severed arm is described as weighing almost nothing, and they are able to move at high speeds with enormous strength They regenerate lost and damaged body parts within seconds to minutes, titans will utterly ignore injuries which would be agonizingly painful to a human, such as losing limbs, being impaled through the heart, or having their eyes gouged out
Unless there are hundreds of thousands of Titans in the same place, I don't see how they're gonna win against heroes? Titans can be as fast as you want, but if they can't reach the supes they're not going to kill them, and a big chunk of heroes can fly, can carry someone while flying, or just have superhuman aim and just need a long-range weapon to fuck up with them.

I can see them putting up an okay fight against flying people, their whole show is about them eating soldiers flying around them all the time. Some are even straight up 99% invulnerable. Some leap and eat in a blink of an eye, some diamond coat their one weak spot, it'll be an okay fight

In AoT they had to develop a special steel that could cut through flesh/bone. Cannons/guns generally do little more than stun/disorient one. What makes an average titan dangerous (at least to normal people) is that all it takes is one swat/grab and it's over. And they move with surprising speed for their size.

question about aot [sp]do they ever get to the fucking basement[/sp]
who the hell would even have any problems with titans in the marvel universe unless this is uncle ben vs the titans i can't really see it being a challenge for most heroes with anything better than street-level powers
That and their super senses and relentless attention span make them genuinely terrifying imo Unpredictability is a pretty big factor too []
And that's just accounting for shit-tier titans. Consider all the variants too. Ones that leap through the air, crawlers, sprinters, colossal titans, armored titans, [sp]intelligent titans[/sp]. I can foresee super-variants with Marvel level abilities.
well the armored one seemingly disappears so maybe he's the flash
well the armored one seemingly disappears so maybe he's the flash
There's a reason for that actually that's explained later on. [sp]Intelligent titans have the ability to switch between human and titan forms. This means Titans could spring up literally anywhere at any time.[/sp]
How good is AoT anyway, heard some pretty bad things about the human characters, but the titans themselves sound pretty interesting.
arent the titans supposed to be super light considering how big they are? despite stupid it sounds, most marvel dudes who are at least as strong as the thing would probably be able to literally throw them around as if they were nothing
only thing that kills a titan is destroying the neck so shooting them in the face isn't that smart
Really then couldn't you just use a bunker buster and hit it in the spine? I mean, again that's using modern day tech but it wouldn't too hard for Victorians to invent a missile.
